Amp is very compact and sounds good, and I really like the cabinet tilt-back feature. The angle feels right for most situations. Handles on the top and on both sides for easy transportation. The amp is very natural sounding with both my Taylor guitar and my sitar. I pulled down the 340Hz band on the graphic EQ just a little and pushed up the 10kHz a bit and that helped EQ it to my taste. It doesn't have a ton of low end, but certainly adequate as an instrument amp I think. I like the frequencies of the individual channel EQ settings to boost the low end or the high end without muddying up the sound. The dispersion is good too though there are no specs on it. It would be great if it had a front panel mute switch, but you can't have everything. Lots of I/O provides plenty of flexibility for any situation. Can't think of anything missing in that department. My only complaint is it is somewhat hissy. There is a background hiss even with the master volume turned off. In my small studio it's a but annoying but not a showstopper by any means. Using an A weighted noise level meter, I measured an additional 4dBA with the amp on. I used a spectrum analyzer app on my iPad and there is a noticeable increase (maybe around 2dB) at around 5kHz with the amp on. My room is not super quiet so there are other differences between the two spectra, and anything below 200Hz or so is outside noise and the people upstairs. I think it is that 5kHz noise that is the noticeable hiss. The attached picture shows the spectrum with the amp ON in red and the amp OFF in green. If you're looking for a super quiet amp for studio use, this many not be it, but live I don't think it would be a problem and it DOES NOT increase when you turn up the master volume control. So I guess the advice would be turn it up!

If you play the piano professionally you need the bigger amp. The 12" speaker is not enough for live performances. For what it does it is fine. I returned mine and now I am playing a more powerful amp with a 15" speaker. Laney makes an AH300 I really want, but it is $150 more. Worth it, but then there are a lot of good ones out there at that price point. I will say that the tilt back feature is a huge plus! Every pianist wants an amp that faces up at and angle, not blowing past their ankles! If you want a personal monitor played at low volume for studio work this one is clean and crisp. But, there is nothing better than a big, powerful amp when you are on stage and need to cut through the mix with a huge introduction on a song by Ronnie Milsap or Bruce Hornsby!

So far it is great. I really have not had a chance to check out all of the channels yet. With this type of purchase it is usually a time tested thing.

Too heavy. You would think the .25 and xlr on same channel would both be pre amped but they are not on channel 1 & 2 (xlr only). Needs to have switched phantom power on each channel. Very good sound. Plenty of connectors. I needed more mic capable connections. Information on unit and dealers are almost non existent.

Better than I expected.

Ampli correct mais cela reste de qualité moyenne. très peut de possibilité de réglage pour guitares électrique ou électro acoustique. Rendu sonore moyen. Très gros problème à mon avis cet appareil est fournis avec un manuel en Anglais uniquement alors qu'il est obligatoire que les produits vendus en France aient un manuel en Francais. J'attend encore le retour d'Amazon pour régler ce problème.
