Legitimate replacement part - works just like the original!
I noticed my filter getting really noisy and thought it was time to replace the impeller. I replaced it with this new impeller, and the thing was silent again! :)When it pulled it out, my old impeller was much dirtier than I expected. After cleaning it, that one's silent too. But, it's never ever a bad thing to have an extra impeller on hand.

Fixed my Problem on an Eheim 2213
I have a 55 gallon aquarium with 2 Eheim canister filters. I recently cleaned both filters and after reinstalling them I noticed one was making a rattling noise. After disassembly I noticed the impeller and shaft were broken. This replacement was easily installed and fixed my problem. I also keep some spare impeller shafts (which easily break since they are porcelain).Decent price.

Description says it comes with the shaft, but it didnt.
Description said it came with the impeller and the shaft. The package was half ripped open and there was no shaft.

While the product is what I paid for I feel I was misled by the first image of the product presented to me by the Amazon UI - it looks like the package contains a shaft and bushings but I was disappointed to open the package to learn that it does not.

Eheims Quality Products
Eheim has always been recognized as a quality manufacturer of aquarium and pond filtering systems and this is another example how well they are designed. This replacement impeller replaced one that operated for 18 yrs straight (except for cleaning of course). The canister filter continues to run flawlessly with this new part. Amazing! Hawaiian Marine Imports provided great service as well.
