This is a gorgeous item, however I bought it for my new Amazon Echo dot 3rd edition as it stated in the description it fitted this. It doesn’t! It is almost too big to even sit on top of it. Such a shame because I love this holder and planned to buy more of them, however I won’t now. Don’t buy if you have a 3rd generation unless your happy with it just sitting on top of it. My concern now is that while i don’t mind the look of my dot sitting on top of this holder, it really isn’t secure and could easily fall off and get damaged. If given this a 3/5 as the holder itself is beautiful, just not as described which is really disappointing.

Does not fit for 3rd generation devices, my mum was very disappointed Xmas day, it's however a good quality piece, can't be bothered asking for a refund as it's just hassle, no good for 3rd gen echo dots, they are too big.

really unhappy, claims to fit a 3rd generation echo dot but there is no way it fits inside. Completely misleading and very false advertising

Very cute and so unique. Surprised it was sturdy and heavy and high quality ceramic too!

This was no use for our Echo Dot so I sent it back

Do not buy as it is no good for Alexa dot 3gen Amazon should correct this Instead of misleading people.

Seriously cool looking product and good way to subtly hide Alexa.
