I bought this pet carrier to serve several purposes: rides in the car to keep my dog off my lap, and for times I have her out in public but she needs to be contained or kept out of sight. This pet carrier is the perfect solution for my 10 lb dachshund. I can’t say she would agree with me, because she scratches vigorously to get out! However, the carrier is standing up to her doggie claws, which quickly became a concern of mine when she began doing it. I’m sure as time goes on she will get used to being in it and will cease scratching . I like the extra pocket for keeping a leash or treats. I selected this particular carrier because it looks like a piece of luggage - not obvious there’s a dog inside and because it’s TSA approved. No current plans to fly, but nice to know it can be used for that purpose if the time comes. I’d buy this product again!

The product was very well designed. There are two double zippered openings on either side of the bag both of which have mesh which makes it very breathable and allows air to circulate through. It comes with a padded bottom board to add sturdiness which is able to be taken apart and thrown in the washer for easy cleaning. On top of that it came with a second padded board cover for when you do need to throw the other in the wash which I looooved. There is an attached leash clasp which can clasp onto your pets collar for added stability and safety it is just a bit thin so not anything crazy strong. There are two pockets one on side and one on the front. The pleather handles are sturdy and easy to hold. It looks so great and is very spacious for my 8 pound Malshi. I used it to transport her after her surgery and loved it. Plenty of room even with her cone in place. Two thumbs up from this gal and her pup👍🏼👍🏼🐶

I love this dog/cat/rabbit carrier. I do. BUT I’m sad to say that I need to return it and not because there’s anything ‘wrong’ per se with the Tailova carrier as it’s stylish, the base is solid, and with the extra bottom liner - if my furry-lovey, Walter, were to walk in mud to do his business (or if he had to go before I could get him to an appropriate place if he went tinkle or poo on it), I could quickly change out the soiled pad with the clean one.So why return it if it’s practically perfect in every way?It’s a ‘size’ issue.You see - Walter is a standard Chihuahua and his breed tops out around 6.5 lbs (~ 2.95 kg) so he’s teeny-tiny at his current 5.5 lbs. And that’s the major drawback of Tailova Pet Carrier I purchased.This particular design is meant to (a) carry a dog up to 10 lbs and still have plenty of interior space to move around, and (b) it can carry 2 small pets - around Walter’s size - with moderate space for movement to get comfortable.I believe there might have been a smaller version of the Tailova Carrier only it was either out of stock or I’m confused after looking at SO many carriers.So I must return this gorgeous bag because it simply wasn’t meant for Walter!

Stiff. Leather is faux. Zippers hard until broken in. Worth the value.

This is a great-looking bag. Very comfortable for my puppy and functional. One side is slightly flatter than the other, which keeps it from banging or rubbing against your leg or hip when you're carrying the pup inside. The cover for the bottom panel is removable -- comes with 2 covers! -- and has Velcro to keep it in place inside the bag. The design is very well thought out. The color is somewhat darker than I expected, but still a very nice taupe. Great value AND top-notch work.

I love this pet carrier because is very comfortable for my little puppy. It is well-constructed, lightweight and fit nicely under the airplane seat. In the top of that is very fashionable!

Unfortunately, I opened it after the return window and the zipper literally broke off in my hand as I went to unzip the end. I'm happy this happened at home and not at the airport (that's the bright side).

I had high hopes for this - very pretty and stylish, and looked sturdy. However, after two days of training, my 10-lb pomeranian figured out how to get the zippers open. Then when I thought I fixed that, he ripped a hole in the bag and got out... had to send it back. If you have a more calm dog maybe it would work.
