Total Saddle Fit - Six Point Saddle Pad - Wither Freedom Sheepskin Half Pad

I bought this saddle pad after I got a new saddle that fit my horse well aside for on one side my horse has lost some muscle tone and the saddle wasn’t making full contact on his left side the back panel had a small gap. The shims in this pad allow me to correct the fit of saddle and it now fits him perfectly and it also gives him the wither relief he needs as he has a large shark fin type wither and this pad combines with my new saddle perfectly and now that he is back to work and building his muscles back up he won’t need it for much longer. I am very happy with the quality of this saddle pad and the function of it.

I like this half pad but I'm not sure I'd get another. I would probably try another brand, if you don't arrange this just right it's easy to let one of the front panels slip a little low and cause a pressure point. I'd love to see a way to connect the panels at the front if you'd like to.That being said, I really like the adjustability of the pad options to help it fit different horses and saddles.

I liked this product and looks nice. Although, the shims were not cut very well to fit into the pockets and they seemed to be made of cheap material and compressed very easily. Also there was a couple thing forgotten on my product, for example the Velcro was trimmed into sections on one side not the other. I mainly bought this for the wither aspect which it helped a lot (highly suggested for wide shoulders and high withers)! The pad itself has a high quality and feel.

A saddle fitter recommended this pad for my horse and it's made a huge difference. He is a 17h TB with a wither that is hollow above the shoulder. The long cutback relieves all pressure over top of wither and the 6 shim pockets allow me to help fill the hollow area. This is our second pad... wore the wool off our first one. I can put this pad under jumping saddle or dressage saddle. I recommend it to everyone.

LOVE THIS PAD! My OTTB has a shark fin wither, and no matter what, saddles kept squashing him. Now, part of that is saddle fit, but I wanted some extra cushion to help raise it off his back. This pad worked like a dream. Now I'm thinking I might need to try their girth as well.

There are three separate pockets for shims, not one big pocket. Works great. Love the split around the withers for my shark-fin TB x.

Huge. Sticks out, front and back, under my 17.5 County Conquest eventing saddle. Other than the overall size being very generous the quality of the materials and construction are very good.
