Ruby Charm Colors Creative Companion: 2019 Organizer & Coloring Art Journal Paperback – November 16, 2018

First of all, I am a BIG fan of Susan Carlson's artwork. But I already had a bullet journal. So, to be honest, I didn't think I would really have a practical use for this book other than coloring the beautiful art. I was wrong! There are swatch charts for popular colored pencils and watercolor or water soluble pencils and pastels. Just color them in. She has blank charts for any other brands you may have. Also, pages for gel pens or markers and light colors (on black paper). A place to keep track of your coloring books and blank pages for wish lists or anything else you may want to keep track of. I have a place to test and keep track of new techniques and color combos. As far as the calendar pages, I use those to keep track of my orders. There is artwork to color throughout the book. I think she has thought of everything. I now have a place to keep of track of my charts and lists and they are all in one place. I love this!!

I love, love, love all of your books and I am hoping there will be a 2020 Organizer Art Journal. I look every week to see if you have released any new books for us to enjoy. Your art is so beautiful. I also love that you include information to help us with our coloring/art skills. Having a place to chart all of my colored pencils etc. in one place is wonderful. I know the paper is not top of the line but if it were the books probably would not be as affordable as they are. I have learned so much from you. This is important to me and makes your books more valuable. There are a few artists that I consider my favorites and you are number one. This is a perfect companion for adult coloring or any other artists who needs a great organizing bullet journal. I’ve purchased two copies so far. One for my mom and one for myself. I have already been using mine to set up so many details for a new year of coloring! The author artist was so thoughtful in her creation of this book! I LOVE it! I did get one of my copies with unsatisfactory paper quailty, and contacted Amazon right away, as I have ALL the books from Susan and buy from her etsy shop so I knew how my book should look. Amazon immediately replaced my companion book with a perfect one for at no cost to me. My replacement copy was on GREAT paper and in perfect condition. So if the printer makes an error be sure to have it replaced the artist Susan wants you to have the best possible product! This book is designed for you to use your artist products in so good paper is key.

This is a great coloring book! Pictures are wonderful and well drawn. Content is very useful and arranged very well. I absolutely LOVE this authors work!!! It is beautiful, even without colors added. I can't wait to get started with the coloring!! It will help me in so many ways and bring joy and peace to my day, as well as give me a chance to practice and use my colored pencils!However, this is a flawed copy. This was due to the location that printed it. I will be sending it back. Things like this happen and that's okay.~J

It is so nice to have a book where I can see all of my supplies used in one place where I can keep them organized. Also this book has some very beautiful illustrations in the pages where you can try out how different products look. I have so many supplies and I don't always know how they look. This book help to keep you organized and it's so fun to work in. It speaks to me in a way no other book has because I get immensely satisfied when I am calmly coloring in the circles and squares. My inner perfectionist really likes coloring in it!!!

Can't wait to get all my pencil colors loaded in this book. There are some great illustrations to color, too. There are spots for Prisma, Polychromos, , Derwent, Caran Neocolors, etc. I'd give it 5 stars if the paper was a little better quality. I will probably make copies of some of the charts on cardstock and/or watercolor paper to add in to the book. Well worth the money though!

This is just the perfect companion for colorists who have lots of pencil collections....and really most of us do right? Susan Carlson took the time to chart out the most popular pencils on the market and blank pages for additional sets. Adorable pictures throughout and pages for journaling or making notes in your coloring journey. The perfect size for traveling. I absolutely love this book and I highly recommend it!

Very well thought out planner! Defiantly will help me be more organized with my “notes of good products or how to do...” I needed something like this to help me as I am new to coloring! What to use and how to use products should help me become better easier & make it enjoyable! What a great creative book for all of your art plans:))

I don't know how I lived without this my life is now organised. I love it! Although there are spaces for pencils I don't have and now want. I love all of the space for notes. One improvement for next year maybe the months could be on white paper.

Absolutely perfect for any colourist who likes to swatch their collection of supplies. Very well thought out book, will not be without mine now! Highly recommended getting for yourself and for gifts too

This is an absolutely amazing treasure to have in my colouring toolbox, and in my opinion would be a definite asset to any colourist (from beginner to advanced)!! It is constructed in a way that helps the colourist use their various pencils/pens/markers in their colouring. Ruby Charm Colors has beautiful artistry in all her books, this one is the diamond in her colouring crown!! I wish I could give 10 stars for this book as the work and thought that went into the design and layout is the best, and well only one I’ve seen in the colouring market!! She truly has thought about colourists as she created this book!! A perfect stocking stuffer or gift to any colourist!! Kudos!!!

Zoals alles van Ruby Charms, ben ik er een grote fan van. Haar tekeningen zijn heel mooi. Ze heeft een eigen shop op Etsy, vooral pdf. De boeken van Ruby Charms kan je hier kopen. Ondertussen zijn er twee kleurboeken en deze agenda/bulletjournal met diverse kleurplaten. De kwaliteit van het papier is gewoon, niet het dikkere kwaliteitspapier, maar is goed voor kleurpotloden. Zoals Ruby Charms zelf schrijft, mag je zeker de bladen inscannen en op het papier van je keuze printen om te kleuren of te verven. Superveel mooie tekeningen aan een redelijke prijs. Je kan er ook je volledige potloden-collectie in kwijt. Erg handig.
