Better than that name brand set. More pieces for the money & no plastic. It will bring out the child in every builder around you. (Gender doesn't matter) Winner!!!This was a birthday gift for my kindergarten-age grandson. When he unwrapped the box, he said "building logs?" While being excited because he wants to be an architect. His Dad said "Do I get some? I LOVE THOSE!"

I know the number of pieces in the set but they should have more of the bigger pieces

I bought this for my 3 year old because I have great memories as a child playing with these. She was very exited to open them and play with them. The quality does not seem as good as I remember and some of the notches are not perfect. My daughter did not notice these imperfections and seems to like them. Besides the wood not being as good quality as the ones from 25 years ago, I guess they are good enough for a 3 year old lol

At first I thought this was a good deal compared to brand name Lincoln logs, but when my daughter and I started playing with them we found that there are not nearly enough medium or long pieces to build with. This makes building limited, but it's still a fun activity.

My son is really enjoying them, the only downfall is that they are round instead of flattened on top and bottom. So they wobble the higher you stack them. But for my boys they don't care becuase to build means that they get to knock it down and if it wobbles before falling they think that is pretty cool too!

I bought these for my 5yr cause I noticed him playing with them at school, they really brought out his creativity and I believe help with hand/eye corrdination, he loves being able to play with them at both home and school. The price was good for 150 pieces. The product arrived on time and packed in its own box.

Other than having sore feet from stepping on them I think they are great. My husband bought them for our 2.5 year old. I still think he's a little young but it's something he'll grow into. He and my husband love to build little log towers and then knock them over.
