The material feels very much like glass and is smooth to the touch, unlike many other film screen protectors, and I personally enjoy it. Dimensions aren't perfect, the protector hangs over by about 2mm on either side, but top to bottom lines up well. My case doesn't wrap very far around the phone so the overhang isn't a problem, though it doesn't look great.I've had this installed for about two weeks and it has taken a few scratches but they're easy to miss if you're not looking for them. Waste of time *by J***S on Reviewed in the United States on December 18, 2019* I should start by saying I am the sole man in a family of 6 (wife and 4 daughters), so I consider myself pretty skilled when it comes to installing screen protectors of any kind (film, tempered glass, etc.). I've done so for a while.Now the problem with this screen protector is not that it does not stretch to the edges of the curved screen of the LG V40, that was expected. This is a glass type of protector, so the material won't have the flexibility to adapt to the curves. The problems here are two:A.- Aligning the protector to stick the guides before peeling the #1 film is very tricky, because the material is slippery. You will need a very firm hand and pressing very steady to avoid it from moving when putting the sticky guides in place.B.- Once the screen protector is installed (And I managed to do so perfectly aligned and zero bubbles) the vertical edges won't stick to the screen. No matter how hard you try to press them down, or how long you wait (They recommend 12 hours before installing a case, I waited more than that) the edges will continue coming back up despite your efforts to make them stick to the very beginning of the curve in the screen, resulting in two white lines to each side of your screen when the phone is off.Bottom line: look somewhere else. It's a shame LK doesn't make their amazing film type, full screen coverage screen protectors for the LG V40, because those are awesome. This one will not be a pleasant experience. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Ok Protector *by B***N on Reviewed in the United States on June 16, 2019* I thought this was going to be line an IQ Shield but that was my issue. These are the same type of non glass protectors that have been sold by companies for years. They are clear and relatively easy to install. They are not as protective as tempered glass, but I have not found one that works well with the V40. I prefer tempered glass or the iq shield type material but these will work fine for now. Cases seem to cause issues with most V40 protectors but these will not. In fact they may actually be a hair to small for my liking. There are visible gaps top and bottom left unprotected.
