I does what it says but...
I love the idea of this towel. It does indeed cool you off when it's wet. However, you could use a bandana or any other scarf to do the same thing. There is nothing special about this scarf or this material that makes it a better cooling agent. In fact, I noticed this material started to smell of mildew after just three days of use. I ended up washing it every day and soon stopped using it because it was just inconvenient.

Wonderful for hot weather!
Could not have survived Africa’s heat (110 degrees mid day) without this cooling towel! It really does create a cooling effect— Most amazing of which is that it becomes much cooler even if you put warm water on it. It can be placed around one’s neck, or draped on any part of the body to cool down.

Nice!
I like these. Where it around my neck and under my shirt when I'm riding. Keeps you cool for a short period, I would say at least a few hours
