Perfect Fit!
The insert fit perfectly into the Jackel basin and the corrugated piping fit into the snap-in-hub with no issues. I used regular PVC glue with primer to keep it secured. I added glue around the corrugated piping.

4" PVC Sched 40 Pipe does not fit
I have a jackel 18x30" basin and this hub fit perfectly into that. However, when I tried to insert a 4" PVC Schedule 40 pipe with an outside diameter of 4.5" as recommended in the instructions, the pipe just doesn't fit. No amount of lubrication or force allows the pipe to fit into the hub. I chamfered the end of the pipe as instructed and used soap and water for lubrication. Two of us trying to push the pipe in didn't work. Tried silicone spray and still no luck. I'm not sure if this is just old stock so the rubber is not soft enough or if there is a manufacturing defect. This problem put my project behind schedule. Would not recommend at all.

4 inch pipe will not fit in this hub!
This conceptually is a good product but no amount of force will allow a 4 inch pipe to go into this fitting when the fitting is inserted into the sump basin. I followed all the directions and even went on line to look for tips. lubed the product up with soap, and myself and one other person tried for almost an hour to force the 4 inch pipe into the fitting. I have been doing remodeling for almost 40 years and have never been more frustrated with a product. I ended up throwing this away and using a different product.

Poor Design & Installation Instructions
They say that it fits in a 4 7/8" diameter hole. It does but it is impossible to insert a 4" DWV pipe even if it is well lubricated and fully chamfered - no matter how hard you push. I measured the diameter of the hole in my sewage basin and it was exactly 4.875" - so that was not the cause of the issue. A 4" pipe has an OD of 4.5". I measure the wall thickness of the SIH4 Snap-In-Hub and it was at least 0.210 so you would need a hole that is at least 0.920. Also I don't see the logic of the clamp being on the outside of basin as you cannot access it after your basin is installed and cemented into your basement floor.
