NuGo Dark Nutrition Protein Dairy Free Non GMO Vegan Bars 50g - Pack of 12 (Chocolate Pretzel)

I am so excited I discovered these bars! They sell some of the flavors individually through Prime Now, and I ordered the on a whim. I am vegan and always looking for a great quick snack or breakfast. I work early in the morning and do not have time to make a full breakfast. One of these bars is perfect for me. This flavor, the chocolate pretzel, is my absolute favorite one. The pretzels add a nice crunch, and the salty and sweet combination is great. I haven't had any issues with them melting when kept in my purse or work bag. I wouldn't recommend leaving them in a hot car, because the chocolate would most likely melt, but it would still taste delicious. My kids like these as well, and I like to always have a few with me when we are, since it is not always easy to find vegan food, depending on where we are. Everyone in the family likes these, and I have to hide them sometimes, so there are some left for me! I have tried several other flavors, which have all been good, but this one is definitely my favorite. Non-vegans would like these as well. They taste delicious and are a great pick me up. I like the dark chocolate. As a vegan, I am used to and enjoy the dark chocolate even more than vegan "milk" chocolate. My palette has changed, and I do not like things that are super sweet. These bars are not too sweet. Give them a try! Price is also good

I first bought these 2 summers ago when I was traveling around Europe because I knew I might have difficulty finding food that wouldn't irritate my system. I am wheat and dairy intolerant, so this ticked off all the right boxes. To be honest, they taste amazing - not too sweet to be a dessert, but they definitely satisfy all cravings. They're also really filling, so there were days where I was so busy that I didn't eat anything but these - yes, I'm serious, I used them as meal replacements, but I'm not recommending that as their intended purpose - just pointing out that 200kcal is pretty decent and can keep you going when hungry. 5* for not only being allergen-friendly but also super yummy

So, recently having to change to dairy free/vegan options for my protein bars and snacks, i found it hard to find some bars that weren't dry and flavourless. The fact that these were dark chocolate also made me a bit iffy, cause i usually find them not to fit with the flavours on the inside.Now, i was actually pleasantly surprised by these bars, the flavour was good, they were a bit dry(ngl, they would be so much better if they had some gooey stuff inside) They were on the other hand a good option when cravings set in, the sugar content is a a bit higher then what i would like, but im still gonna re-buy these! the mint and mocca were my least favourites, but even them were fine, i give them a solid 8/10.

12g of protein is great for 200 cal snack. The carbs/sugar aren't particularly low but they're not too bad. I eat these around midday on a break at work after starting at 7am and I find they're a great little energy booster and they taste great. Literally like a chocolate bar and because of the rice crispy things inside of them rather than that awful chalky protein stuff you usually get in protein bars, you actually do enjoy eating them. This is definitely the best flavour out of the variety pack as well.

Sooooo delicious! I have a dairy allergy so haven’t had a decent chocolate bar in a long time. These really hot the spot. I had to keep checking the packet to make sure it really was dairy free. I’m not sure if I would eat them after every workout as I dont have that much of a sweet tooth in general. (They are not overly sweet but I’ve never been a huge chocolate eater even when I could eat it) But on those occasion I feel like having a sweet treat I will defo reach for one of these tasty chocolate bars. Very happy.

Delicious but not particularly high protein.Cookie is 2 portions and therefore a lot of calories even if it is bloody delicious!! It’s not obvious at first glance that there are 2 portions in the one cookie. Was gutted when I realised how many calories I’d gobbled!! Nice as a vegan treat but not really high enough protein and low enough sugar to count them as a post workout snack. Very tasty though.

Got hooked on these in America and generally can’t find them in the U.K. unfortunately. Nugo bars are dangerously addictive but so light and delicious! Quite sugary compared to other vegan protein bars.

The NuGo protein bars are tasty and gluten free. We purchase this flavor when our favorite, the chocolate chip bars are not available. Anyone who likes mocha and dark chocolate will really like these. We gave it 4 stars because they arrived with off color chocolate... they must have melted a bit in transit and then hardened again. Still tasted ok but didn’t look as nice.
