Kannastör GR8TR V2 Grinder - Solid Body with Stainless Steel Easy Change Screen (Matte Silver)

I have bought both the first version of this grinder (no longer made) and the second version (the one you are looking to buy). Keep in mind that I did not have to replace the first one because it broke or didn't work it was confiscated by security. This is a very nice line of the Kannastör brand. The medium grind is a little less fine than the previous version (which I thought was often a bit too fine. I think the medium grind is your best bet for everyday use of your choice of herb whether it be rolling or packing a pipe or water pipe. The fine grind plate is VERY fine but also very useful is you have a dry herb vaporizer. A friend of mine has one and says the fine grind is perfect for that use. On another note, pollen collection in the bottom of the grinder works extremely well. I have had the grinder for less than a month and the pollen has built up considerably fast compared to other grinders. While grinding your herb you'll also notice that the grinder works extremely well. It takes little to no effort to grind up lots of herb at once and the teeth haven't gotten dull after a good amount of use. Some people will say the magnet is "too weak" and to an extent I agree. However, I have never had a problem where I dropped it or picked it up and had the top come off. I think this is partially due to the fact that this model is lighter than its predecessor, which means a weaker magnet doesn't become problem. In addition, the grinder comes with a black bag (which I highly recommend you use) which helps to keep things together as well. another thing I notices about this grinder is that the magnet in the top and bottom meet in the middle of the teeth, meaning that less herb gets stuck between the two magnets. In a way it is similar to the Santa Cruz shredder's design with the magnet.To wrap this up, I highly recommend this grinder if you have the money. It is highly functional, very durable, and surprisingly very light (especially compared to the first version). In addition it is a very cool looking grinder and a good conversation starter. There are only two downsides that I can see to this grinder: first, the magnet is notably weak (although as I mentioned it hasn't affected me in any scenarios). Second, although the magnet in the base of the grinder is raised a bit which mean less herb gets stuck, it doesn't go all the way to the top like the Santa Cruz shedder (which would be ideal). All in all, buy this product you wont regret it in the end! I hope some people found this useful (when buying this I didn't have a whole lot to go on so this should help people in my situation)

The Kannastor GR8TR V2 is the best grinder one can purchase and will last you a lifetime. This is my second one, my first was stolen. I had worked construction and this thing can survive the greatest falls and accidents.Fine Grind: Use for Vaporizers.Medium Grind: Use for everything else.Screen: Great for collecting Trichromes, minimal green matter collected, frankly best screen minus those of different micron sizes specifically for dry sieve.Ground Bud Collection Area: Above where the screen is located there is the area below the grinder itself, they incorporate a metal bowl like area before the screen starts that makes it easy to pinch up the goods without coming in contact with the screen.Top: You may choose to leave one of the two sizes of grinds at home or in a seperate area of your stash to cut down on the size, which also creates a storage area. Alternatively, you may also take out the screen area and make it ultra compact.

[Original 1 Star Review]The magnet came chipped, with shavings or chipped pieces of magnet in the grinderThe first image is of the magnet itself in the grinder, and the metal ring around it also appears chipped.The second image is of the chipped piece of magnet attached to the fork.(I'm assuming it's a piece of the magnet because it sticks to the fork)That's potentially dangerous.I do not want loose metal or magnetic chunks having any chance of getting into my body.I've read reviews on Amazon, that tell of similar experiences where the grinder appears broken or used.A different listing for the same grinder also had reviews with similar problems.The grinder also came with the acrylic mid section advertised on a different listing, instead of the solid black metal center that's advertised in these images.It's not a huge complaint, but it's not what I paid for and was expecting based off the product listing.[Update to 4 Stars]I got a replacement, and it came in good shape. Now that I've had a chance to use it I absolutely love it.It feels great in my hands, the weight and size is nice.It gives me the perfect grind, and the shape of the chamber the herb falls into makes it easy to scoop out all plant matter.The option to only use the components you want to, like the metal screen, is something I was looking forwards to and it really fits my needs.It's the best grinder I've used by far.

Love this grinder, especially for vaping when using the "fine" wheel that is included. Wish it were a half inch to inch wider in diameter, but it works great and is extremely well made. If they make a larger one, I will buy it immediately.

I want to say before the negative, as a grinder this is a fantastic piece of equipment. It grinds well, it’s smooth, etc. it is a fantastic grinder. But.To start, this item was shipped UPS Next Day air saver and took a little under a full week to arrive, but that isn’t the fault of the item or manufacturer and the time of year didn’t help a thing. But aside from this, the item arrived (as I have seen in other comments) very dirty in the box from the factory. Not a big deal. Additionally however, it had excessive amounts of petroleum between each layer for the threading. Pretty standard for most things but not what you want to see on something you’re going to be using for fine, dry particulate. Lastly the “Polished Deep Dish Tray” as it is referred to in the circular booklet inside the grinder upon disassembly has a sizable, very deep scratch that was obviously just covered with a bit of black paint as can be seen in the photo attached. All in all, the item itself works very well and it’s beyond what the average person could ever ask for in a grinder but for $60 the condition it arrived it is, quite frankly, entirely unacceptable

Grinds very well.For the size of the grinder the size of the chamber that actually holds ground up material is a bit small for my liking.Kif catcher works well.This could be a great grinder if it was a touch wider and better designed in terms of how much space each compartment has. The kid bit is huge but main chamber isnt. The storage bit at the top is meh.It does do a superb job of grinding not too fine but fine enough and always evenly.I use the bigger one for bengs and vapes the smaller bit is too small for even vaping imo.

Both plates offer a superb grind with minimal amounts of herb sticking to the teeth, this means your herb goes further which saves money in the long run.The fine grind is great for vapes or a bowl (if you've got a screen), where as the medium plate offers a wonderful grind for everything else. I've notice when I smoke I can certainly taste the bouquet of your herb far more down to the improved air flow it offers through your "cigarette".I was dubious but I'm pleased I made the investment as it's a marked improvement on the usual £20 to £30 grinders I've had in the past.

10/10. Best grinder I've used, since my space case titanium. Definitely the best on the market at the moment and it was 10 quid cheaper than the space case. Can't rate it enough.

One of the best grinders ive ever used small and compact but has a lot of options, it also can handle large volume of herb due to the design of the grinder.
