Lots of information for everyone.
I admit I am not an iPad user and have been frustrated t learning about Apple products. My sister had a extra 2018 iPod mini-2 and she gave it to me. I really haven't spent any time/effort reading the manual, but is packed full of product info on various levels of knowledge. I have a Kindle tablet, Chromebook, and a smartphone so another addition has me overwhelmed with technology.

Dealing with i-pad
Dislike is easy: I have a huge i-pad,and it's barely portable. When I was in the hospital I used it constantly, even before I had the book. It takes a great deal of time to learn i-pad. If you have the time the "Dummy" book will be a big help. Also keep the i-pad right near your computer.

This explains clearly how to use an ipad which can be an enigma
I am still learning but how to turn one on. then how to turn it off. How to recharge the ipad -- etc. It is a truly wonderful book for a great products which can seem like an enigma. It also discusses how to take photos which is truly fun. Highly recommended for all ages.

I really like this book, I started reading it from the beginning and soon decided it was better used as a reference book. Clear directions for all the things I have looked up.

Perfect!
As a Senior I use this book more as a reference. Has many good tips in language most understandable to our age group although I must admit I am computer literate so I already know some of the material. If one can work a Smartphone, one will have no problems with this book.

More detail and less promotional chat needed. e.g. Reminder app highly praised but how to use it is useless.
