I ordered this dress in white, dark purple, and black as part of an order of 6 amazon dresses, with intent of wearing 1 to my bachelorette party and returning the others. I weigh 140 lbs at 5'3 (small chest, big butt and thighs) and it fit well. I sewed the halter top a bit shorter on my final dress (black) since my chest is small and I was worried about showing a lot of side boob.Don't order white unless you want a see-through dress. I have a small black tattoo on my hip and it was completely visible in the white dress. This was disappointing, as I wanted a white dress for my bachelorette party.The purple is NOT dark, it is a light lavender color. It was not see-through, but was so light colored that it made my fair skin look pasty so I returned it as well.The black is not see-through and is a nice little black dress. I ended up picking this dress, despite the annoyance that the bottom rides up on my thighs as I walk. It looks very sexy, and though the material is thin the ruched fabric hides underwear lines as well as make the booty look nice. However, that ruched fabric is probably why the dress slowly rides up. I decided that beauty is pain and I'll be pulling the dress down all night.

The item is very nice, and seems to be well made. However, since it is a halter top type of garment, I would caution ladies with larger breasts, such as I have, that you may not get the support for your bust line that would be desirable. I purchased one of the strapless, backless bra items, to use with this little dress, the kind of bra that adheres with a sticky material. But the result is very compromised.Therefore I will probably just use this little dress as an at-home piece of lounge wear and not try to wear it to go out in.

Wife and I went shopping for several "not your everyday" dresses for an adults only all inclusive vacation. Bought this one and wife loved it - very comfortable, very sexy. Wife is 5' 6", 128lb, 37-29-36 and the small fit perfect. Seems reviews of fit are all over the place and unknown if that's product variation or user error. She got white - top was ever so slightly see through - it really depended on the lighting - may vary depending on body type, but was appropriate for the venue, the disco at the resort.

I suppose it would be an amazing dress if you were over 5’9 and had a fantastic figure. Sadly that’s not me so I looked more like a stuffed sausage.

I was not sure how it would look but once I put it on I feel in love with it. I highly recommend this to anyone who loves purple. Its comfortable, breathable and fun. I get a ton of compliments whenever I wear it
