Better than previous in series
I was pretty skeptical about this. The previous books in this series of graphic novels have disappointed me by leaving out important pieces of the story. This one did a pretty good job sticking to the plot and wrapping up the first Percy Jackson series as a graphic novel. Of course, some things were left out, but nothing that left me feeling like a crucial piece was missing.Overall very happy with it.

KISS??
SPOILERS AHEAD!!ok please read the book first. while this did a good job of summarising the story, it’s missing the best part of the book. yes, they skipped the percabeth kiss. there’s no clarisse carrying percy and annabeth into the water, no percy making a bubble so they can breathe. NOPE. they just cut all of that out. at the end, there’s a silhouette of them kissing on a hill by the beach BUT IT DOESNT DO THEM JUSTICE. i’ve seen the fan art of the underwater kiss, AND CAN YOU IMAGINE THE REAL PUBLISHED ART OF THEM KISSING? NO YOU CANT BECAUSE THEY FORGOT IT. I CANT BELIVE RICK LET THEM GET AWAY WITH THAT, FORGETTING THE CUTEST POINT IN THEIR RELATIONSHIP. it’s ok though i’m not that salty about it. BUT RICK SHOULD HAVE SAID SOMETHING. SMH

Love love love
Perfect ending. I loved that her final battle scenes weren’t drawn out too much and we really got to see the best parts of the book. I actually cried a couple times. Loved this GN!

Great series for my 9 and 11 year olds
My boys love these books. It’s a great series. The box looks great that holds them all.

Okay
It was a little too short for my taste, honestly, and the illustrations could be better, i think… but it was good

Disappointed
The graphic novel left a lot of things that was mentioned in the book. Great for a quick summary of the book. However, I wash disappointed.

Wonderful storytelling
If you like Percy Jackson, these graphic novels are perfect for you. My 7 year old was so excited to see the pictures of all the characters. I recommend reading the actual books first and then reading these to follow up.

Pretty Good Remake
I worried about getting this book in thought that it wouldn’t turn out as good as the novel. However, after reading it, I’m pretty pleased. If you need to quickly check something from the novel, you can flick through these pages! The only set back is that not all moments in the book are featured. So, I’d recommend reading the novel by Rick Riordan first.

It's for those who've read the original novel
If you are into the Percy Jackson Series, you will like this graphic novel. The Illustration is good. They have made their best effort to tell the story within the limited scope of a comic book. Worth buying. A Satisfactory purchase. My son is happy with it. Highly recommend if you've read the original. However, I must tell you this important thing; this book, more than as a stand-alone comic, can only be enjoyed fully when it is used as a companion alongside the original written novel. Consider it as an illustration of the in-between parts of the story line from the novel. Just like a two hours movie will not show you everything from a 400 page novel, similarly, don't expect to find all the scenes from the original written novel to be depicted in 120 pages here. If you keep this in mind, you will definitely enjoy this book for what it is.
