Good flavour
I use saffron in fish soup and paella mostly. Usually I buy Spanish. I was pleasantly surprised by this Greek saffron which is made by a cooperative, it has good flavour. I like that it is in a small airtight glass jar too, important for saffron. My only small criticism is that I find I have to use more of it than the Spanish saffron to get the correct result. So while it is cheaper than good Spanish, I have to use more, so one 1 gram jar will only make 2-3 dishes.
