Good but....
It's been a month since i have this...and i'm not satisfied for two reasons: 1 it didn't have a power cable included and i didn't know until i read at product description (after i had already ordered...so stupid of me) that it doesn't include a power cable, and that in my opinion is stupid because since a power cord costs like 5 bucks or less they could have included one with the package, and second... i always hear a backround noise/sound...maybe its the power cable who knows...too bad.P.S. Sorry for my english.

The SDA-01A is an excellent choice for the investment and first time user. This unit packs a punch in a clean package. The stereo separation and range are great for a one watt transmitter. If you decide to use an external (outside) antenna with good cableing, you should expect to transmit up to a mile plus! Output of this unit does NOT degrade over time as with some other units on the market after a week or two of use. With that being said, and if you don't want to get into any trouble, I suggest you not set the power above 3-5 range out of 15, if you use an outside antenna (which will cover a little more than a city block using a decent receiver/car radio). This unit also gives you an option of using RCA audio input L/R (located on the rear), or a mini jack on the front. I prefer the RCA rear jack set up for a cleaner look, and the sound quality is more forgiving if your sound supply is coming from a stereo mixer etc.As for the PC control via USB interface, you'll need to down load the program. I use it all the time to turn it on/off, turn on/off the backlight, and adjust the power output (you can do these functions without the interface - it's just easier). The on-screen dash board is a bit generic, but simple to use - enough said.Note: I have never used the supplied power supply, so therefore I can't comment on the reliabiliy/quality and durability of that part. However, I use a 12V 3A (2Wire) power supply from a bad router/modem I had. I can run this unit worry free for days at a time without any issues or concerns; i.e. over heating or fire. You can find some real nice power supplies on the internet if you want to enjoy the maximum use of the transmitter. In summary, I bought this unit on May 15, 2012, and it is functions as if I just took it out of the box! Very reliable, and easy to set up and use!
