Awesome
I had to wait a while to start my kit and even though the company said this should be a avoided, I still ended up with over two pounds with the first harvest!

You have to be patient. It takes a little bit of time before you see growth.
We got a nice crop of mushrooms. We were told that sometimes you can get another "crop" but we only got one more mushroom after the initial crop. They were delcious and well worth the price.

Delicious!
This was very easy to do. I had an abundance of mushrooms for weeks. I've tried to email the seller twice to ask a question, but have never received a response. Would recommend.

Do Not Buy in Spring or Summer
I bought one of these kits last November. Everything went well. This year, I made the terrible mistake of buying in August. The mushrooms will not grow at all unless they are 63-68 degrees. In order to attain this, the merchant suggests you keep an area of your house at 68 degrees, divert/duct away part of your air conditioning ductwork into a tub into which you must cut a hole, or set up the kit in a tub into which you have set up ice blocks and a fan. There is also the issue of crop failure if the kit gets over 70 degrees.. It is not shipped in dry ice or anything to protect it from heat during shipping. The seller will not refund if you realize you can't sustain 68 degrees throughout the summer. I'm in a wildfire area with power shutoffs, so none of the "solutions" presented are possible. So, over $100 completely wasted on these kits. The seller does list, in with the box dimensions of the product that it needs to be 63-68 degrees. This was a valuable lesson as I realized there was a reason why no other farms were selling crimini/portabella kits in the summer. Even explaining my situation and asking to return the product and get another kit in November, the seller would not budge. My feeling is the seller should have full disclosure what you will have to do should you be so unfortunate as to purchase outside of the fall/winter season. I plan to continue to grow mushrooms, just won't be buying kits from these people. Caveat emptor: let the buyer beware.

Don’t expect a box full grown
Only produced a few, no further production of them. Whereas my button mushrooms were fantastic & are still producing for the 3rd time! Both received the same day & started them that night.

Easy Grow Mushrooms
Had good luck with the three mushroom kits I purchased and growing my own was less expensive that purchasing in a store if you can even find some of the varieties!
