Superb British military RM commando issue arctic socks. Fully-lined in a loop stitch padding that traps air and protects in extreme cold conditions. With reinforced toes and heels, these will give excellent durability. Brand new. Size medium is 5 - 8.5 UK size. Size large is 9 - 13 UK size.

Cosy toes for Arctic walking (we hope!)
Bought these for arctic Norway in January, on the enthusiastic reviews of other purchasers. They seem well made & are a suitably loose fit for warnth. We've yet to try them in winter for real, but the signs are good & I can understand that other buyers were so enthusiastic.Later, after using these socks in Arctic Norway in January: we had temps down to only -10°C, but spent a lot of time standing around at night watching the Northern Lights, and our feet were warm as toast wearing these socks inside good boots, despite the relative inactivity. Likewise sitting on a dog-sled, when getting chilled without good kit like this would have been a certainty.Overall conclusion after use is that they are excellent, perform well, comfortable, and worth buying.

Nice and Warm
Nice warm socks, reasonably thick and the 'towelling" loops on the inside really keep the heat in. They fit a little large, I'm a broad 8 and they are loose without being baggy enough to cause a problem when wearing Para boots. A pair of thin socks underneath really ramp up the heat.I haven't washed them yet which will be the real test, I will report back when I do.

These are lovely and warm, even on the coldest winters' nights. However, they smell quite strongly when first arriving, and aren't the most comfortable (they're pretty itchy). I'd recommend wearing some smaller, lighter socks underneath.

Arctic Cold Weather Socks, MoD-spec, white (Medium)
The best socks available as far as I'm concerned. Comfortable and warm. Used these years ago in the TA where they had the added bonus of never getting nicked from the drying room on Camp because the waterproofing on my boots discoloured them so that even when washed and clean they looked otherwise.

Work great
Would be nice if they where tight fitting but there's no doubt that keep my feet very warm. Certainly notice the difference.

Warm and good fitting.
I'm glad that I bought these socks,because,they are good fitting,comfortable and warm.I'm a size 10.They also kept their shape after a machine wash unlike some other socks.I'd buy them again.
