so far ... so good. i purchased two of these items and it took, maybe, a minute to set up both devices to work with the app and with alexa. (i have other alexa enabled devices so i already had the smart life app and the amazon alexa app up and running). here's a nice us of the product: one of the devices i'm using on my landscape lights. within the smart life app i created a quick 'scene' that will turn the lights on at sunset and turn them off at sunrise. really easy to do.one thing to keep in mind is the size of these units. they are bigger than some of the rectangular units being sold on amazon. they don't cover up both plugs on a outlet, but they work best if the second plug in the outlet is going to be used with a 2 prong cord. once you go to a device using a 3 prong plug-in, or if you are using a device (such as many phone chargers) that takes up more room then you -might- have some issues.bottom line ... for the money this is a very nice alexa enabled device to have.

I had no issues from beginning to end with this plug! Works like a charm! Love my echo dot! I’m so fascinated with this whole smart home thing, I never get bored it always amazes me everyday I get hone from work! The plug synced to my WiFi abs Alexa flawlessly. I will be buying more soon.... smart home is expensive lol but with a little here and there by time you know it the whole house will be at your command.

Inexpensive, built well, works great with Alexa. A lot of these smart plugs will work on the same software so you don't have to download every single app. I have purchased various smart plugs for android use and one application works for all of them, iView Home. I haven't used the energy monitoring of the device which shows up in the app. I would buy again.

Works good for my needs of turning my RV hot water heater on and off instead of me having to go outside and flip the switch every day when I needed hot water for a shower. It can be tricky to re-connect when internet goes down and the steps to reconnect can be somewhat different than what the instructions describe.UPDATE 4/13/2020 - This is still working good for my hot water heater. I see others' reviews stating the plug works only for a short time, but for me it is still working.

Pricing was good and liked the size. Tried several times to connect to Amazon Alexa but would not connect to Alexa as indicated in the information. Followed the instructions,went online to view instructions as well as through the app. Can operate it through phone but that was not what we wanted.

I really like the power monitoring feature of this. I hooked up my TV to this and have been amazed by how much power my TV consumes. I was inspired to change it because of this. It is a bit large so it may occupy the space of two outlets so keep that in mind.

Excellent product so far. I had them now for 3 weeks and they work perfectly with the app and Alexa. They are easy to configure, just make sure you are not connected to 5G network. After the first order I placed 2 other orders for how much I liked them.

This product was easy to set-up, works well with Alexa. The outlet is simple to operate from the app as well. Nice feature to have the energy monitoring. The product is well worth the purchase for inexpensive home automation without a hub needed.
