JIM DUNLOP38120105211 Electric Guitar Strings (DEN1052)

I tried these strings at the urging of a friend that is endorsed by Dunlop. They're really warm sounding and feel broken in right out of the package. They're no where near as bright as D'Addarios or Dean Markleys which is great for me. I use very hot pickups and high gain tube amps. These strings eliminated all of the shrillness from my tone and added just the right amount of mid-range I was previously lacking. My only real complaint is that they need to be stretched a little more than other strings that I've used when you first install them.

Solid, budget strings, zero complaints. I used to play Slinkies, maybe it's just my tin ear, but I can't hear much of a difference and I feel like these are a tad better for pick scrapes. I normally splurge on pricey strings when I hit the studio, but went with these when we recorded last month, no regrets.

I always enjoyed these strings over Ernie Balls. But, it depends on your guitar and your hands. I have oily fingers that stripped through Ernie Ball strings in a hurry. I mostly used these Dunlops on my Jackson Dinky for Drop C and D standard tunings, whereas I used D'Addarios on my SG.

I started as a 9gauge man, didnt know what was what, but just wanted what and whatever there is. Gained a little knowledge, when up to 10gauge. 10 was great! but lost the love over a year, the thick E was just too thin. Moved to 11's WOW what a diffrence, wound strings are punchier and crisped, and the thin 3 are lively, and not too thick, all have great sustain. And i play in C# so thats cool and all.

Was an Ernie Ball fan until I tried these on a whim, they are now my new favorite string.

LOOKS PRETTY, SOUNDS PRETTY, AND HAS PRETTY NICE CLEAN DISTORTION. it does make a difference in sound.

bought these for my boyfriend because he said he needed some new ones. He said there ok so he's pleased so Im happy.

Great tone and sustain. Dunlop has what I've been searching for.

Als Ernie Ball Spieler muss ich sagen das ich meine neuen lieblingssaiten gefunden habe. Die Dunlop klingen sehr ausgewogen und nicht zu bassig. Bei metal klingen sie dynamischer als die Ernie Ball, die gerne mal matschen wenn man zu sehr reinhaut.

Calibro: 11-50. Vanno bene per accordature come D e Db standard (cioè l'intera accordatura trasposta) e anche per Drop C. Dopo averle stirate e aver rifatto l'intonazione per l'accordatura in D le trovo molto suonabili, ottime per il metal.
