Oliver Cromwell led the Parliamentarians against the Royalist contingents in three English Civil Wars. Opposing him was King Charles I, whom Parliament tried and executed to end the Second English Civil War in 1649. Charles II took up his father's cause but was also defeated by Cromwell in 1651. Lord Byron's Regiment fought on the side of King Charles against Cromwell's Parliamentarians. Each Empire Military Miniatures figure is limited to a run of 100 figures and includes a numbered certificate of authenticity.
