Toaster 4 Slice, White

My husband and I have been searching for toasters for quite awhile now. It's time consuming! You would think picking out a toaster would be easy for heavens sake. We couldn't understand why finding a toaster that toasts evenly on both sides was a problem to find. I mean come on....we can send a man to the moon, but we can't calibrate or whatever it is that you do to make a toaster toast evenly, work!!! Then, we came upon the CUSIBOX toaster. Nice look to it?...Check. 4 Slice Toaster?.....Check. Good Reviews?......Check Toasts Bagels?....Check!!! YAY! Bought it, made toast, and guess what? It actually toasted evenly on both sides with one go round on #2 setting. Who would have thought? A toaster that toasts properly!! Hooray!!!

The very first day we got it, there was definitely a slight difference in how each side of the toast toasted, when making very light toast. The funny thing is it doesn't seem to do that any more. It's also completely un-noticable if you make the toast a little darker.Also, this was purchased based on intense review reading. It's pretty expensive comparatively speaking, but many other toasters seemed to have more complaints about fire hazards than this one. (Keep in mind, some reviewers say crazy things, so you can't take them all too seriously. I for example, until this toaster, have owned nothing but pretty much the cheapest toaster model from wherever I bought my toasters, and no fires ever started, and they all lasted 10 years or more. Nonetheless, it's a nice toaster. A luxury item.

My old toaster of 10 plus years finally died. I realize a toaster doesn't toast perfectly evenly and I'm not trying to be anal. This is my second attempt at buying a toaster on Amazon. As you can see it's not even close. One side was actually slightly soggy. Very disappointing. I probably shouldn't be eating waffles anyway. <g> I will continue to experiment. It's a nice looking toaster, plastic of course but doesn't do what it's supposed to so far.

We have coffee and Bays muffins every morning. Used a name brand two slice toaster that cooked unevenly for years. Decided to get a 4 slice to speed things up.This brand was unknown to me, so I judged by the reviews. A good choice.The bagel setting actually works, and it toasts evenly. The positive click settings are a plus too. Switch from muffins to bread, just back off a few clicks.Nice looking and easy to keep clean.Very pleased.

Only using this toaster for about 5 days. Initially used left side slots and bread/bagels toasting fine. Today (Sat) my husband toasted a bagel in the right side slots and it only toasted one side of each half. One of the halves was the side you'd butter and even at the highest temp, it never browned. Will be looking into replacement.

At this point we like everything about this new toaster. It's fast with making toast, the doneness options are easy to use and seems to be right on target for color of toast. Good product overall and great service. Another great Amazon purchase!

It's basically a magic box, boring plain old bread goes in and delicious warm toast comes out. Simply amazing.

This toaster is a disappointment. The dials for controlling the toasting level are difficult to read. Bread is unevenly toasted with the spaces between the elements remaining uncooked. I had researched many toasters and had high expectations for performance. Now I will continue my search.
