Brilliant basis for aneomometer.
Works well for at least 5 years.

Doesn't work at certain points
I have been using this anemometer for a while now and been unable to get accurate data at certain points. Recently I discovered the reason is because when the anemometer is connected to the reed switch is constantly sends signals, which means when the wind isn't going very quick the data will spike, is there a way to fix this?

Simple plastic anemometer with reed switch that can be used with a pulse counting datalogger or electronic circuitry. The arms to the cups are quite fragile and easily broken.
