Easy to install
We had not service with other antenna’s in our second home in South Carolina. I had great results in our camper with this Antenna. So we purchased another for South Carolina, my parents are amazed at the quality. They have a HD TV. The picture is amazing

Get's outperformed by a much cheaper and much better quality antenna
This is the second Antop I've returned due to poor performance. Both my older antenna, the Antennacraft Universal and the one I replaced this with, the Antennas Direct Clearstream 2V outperforms both Antops by far. The old antenna that was battered by recent storms and wildfire picked up 68 clear channels and that was a $60 antenna and was still working when I decided to replace it with the Antop AT-400BV that costs over twice as much and only picked up 51 channels that breaks up. Decided to return that one I got an omnidirectional, this one and it performed just as poorly, 51 weak channels. It only feeds in 57% of signal strength from the nearest transmitter at 2 miles southeast which is highly unacceptable performance. What's even worst is that in just 2 days after I mounted outside, this the AT-417B's finishing already started to deteriorate. Now I'm using a Antennas Direct Clearstream 2V and unlike the Antops, it is much more inexpensive, picks up to 82 channels that does not break up, and clearly shows it's much better built with higher quality materials. The Antennacraft and Clearstream does not feel like it uses leftover parts from cheap rejected knockoff routers like Antop does.

Don't bother
What a piece of crap. I thought I would get at least a better feed than my current antenna. I mounted in the same place as the old one, but a little higher above the house, went inside and installed the booster, ran the channel search and what, only 3 channels? I went back on top of the house rotated it two of three times and got nothing better.I finally got fed up and put my old one back up. 22 channels. And we are surrounded by trees. This thing belongs in the trash.

Antop antenna disappointment
I didn’t buy this on Amazon I got it Direct from Antop. Great looking antenna but it’s performance is somewhat disappointing. I had this antenna professionally installed and tuned. Thinking I would add a number of new channels I was surprised it actually got less than my cheap interior antenna. The only good part is it works on more than one TV. Looking at a conventional fish bone antenna as my next move. This one will go on Craigslist. ☹️

This ant is NOT sealed for outdoor use. My unit was attached to the house, after +1 year the unit filled with water and the ant connector leaked water down into the cable. Unit no longer works and the cable would need to be changed. There is no way to contact company rep to let them know about their problem. It is going to happen again. My advice DO NOT BUY THIS ANTENNA. The Model is 414BC5
