Very good inexpensive wok
This is a very good wok for it's price. To elaborate one needs to understand what a good wok is about. A wok is very unlike our Indian Kadhai and is used in many east asian cooking where they use a technique called flash frying. What this means is that food is heated at very high temperatures but for very little time. To achieve flash frying, your wok needs to be thin. It is just a very small barrier between food and fire itself and it should get heated quickly to high temperatures. In that sense this wok has perfect thickness. It is not very thin like sheetmetal but also if you expect kadhai level thickness you will be disappointed and perhaps you're not looking for a wok but a big kadhai, if so then this is not the item for you.The best dishes to prepare in this wok would be east asian dishes like chinese, Thai, korean, noodles, stir fry, fried rice etc. which use flash frying techniques.Seasoning needs to be done to maintain the wok. Look up any video on wok maintenance you'll know how to do it, it is easy enough.Finally a wok needs to be big enough to move things around without burning. which is again what is used in making the dishes I specified. In that sense this wok is perfect as it is big enough to cook for 2-3 people. However do understand that if you are cooking for more people please make it in batches and not put the entire ingredients for more people because there is space as you will not be able to move things around and over crowd the wok resulting in undercooked food.TLDR : A very good and inexpensive wok, if you know how woks are used.

Great wok for authentic Chinese cooking!
I was a little apprehensive about buying this wok seeing the negative reviews, but decided I'd do it for the price... And I'm so happy I did! While finishing is not perfect, the construction is sturdy, and size is perfect for tossing. It heats up super fast, gives a smokey flavour, and has helped me make fantastic fried rice and Chinese dishes!Some clarification for those who don't know what woks are for:Woks are used for flash cooking, in other words, cooking food at very high temperatures and supposed to smoke easily! This allows only the outer part of food to cook while keeping the interior still fresh and intact, while giving the food a smokey flavour that is in authentic Chinese (wok hei). This is why woks need to be as thin as possible for faster heat delivery. So for all the reviews that say it is "sheet metal".. it's supposed to be like that!Because this is not an ordinary kadaai, there are some additional steps you need to do to maintain it. You first have to season the wok (you'll find plenty of YouTube videos on how to do this. It involves superheating the wok, and then coating with oil, so that surface turns from gray to black), and regularly oil it before storing it so doesn't catch rust. A well maintained wok can be made almost non stick!So keeping all this in mind, for people searching for kadaai to slow cook food, this may not work best as it heats up really quickly. But if you want to buy for the purpose of cooking Asian foods, this is a great cheap option!

It got rusted within 15 days :(
I bought the product. It is sturdy but it is rusted and don't feel like cooking with it.

Item looks rusted in one wash. Maybe its a defective piece
I don't know if its normal. But the item looks rusted after just one wash. The build is sturdy and heavy but there are doubts about the material used. Its not stainless and seemed to rust easily giving an iron smell to the food.

Great Buy. Do not go by the negative reviews..
The Wok is great for its price. It really serves its purpose well.Do not forget to SEASON your wok before use.. Please see youtube videos on wok seasoning..Trust me, if you do not season your wok beforehand, it will be of no use.. also after each use it is best to coat it with a thin film of oil..Do not expect it to be absolutely perfect, because it is hand made.. as a result the edges are little sharp..If you have a higher budget you can go for a different one.. otherwise this one serves its purpose well.

Rusts too often, even after seasoning
Sturdy product. Works well. But rusts too often so one has to prepare it before every use. Another thing, this is very large. It’s difficult to store in kitchen cupboards.

Value for money. So far......
It's good for Chinese cooking. Don't expect this to work like an Indian thick kadai. It's a thin iron wok for flash cooking. Light in weight to spin the wok easily. The handle is a problem. Hence one star less. But for its price, it is worth it. Other woks are more expensive online. I purchased for 590. The handle is heavy and when the wok is empty it has a tendency to topple over. I set it to a wall and start the cooking. Once their is enough food weight in it, the handle won't topple it over. Problem is only when the wok is empty on burner.It's been a month. I seasoned it thrice by referring youtube tutorials and the cooking has been fairly hassle free. Food didn't stick as much. I believe the more I use it, the better non-stick it will become and shinier & black Only time will tell. Will share another review if I change my opinion. It's been a month. I ahvr cooked 4-5times.

Value For Money
The wok was delivered in time. Looked the same as shown in the pictures. No surprises there. Seasoned it the same day following the process advised in a few videos on YouTube. Cooked egg fried rice the night and experienced no issues either with the wok or with the smell and taste of the dish.A suggestion for product improvement: Reduce the handle by a couple of inches and make the angle more acute (with reference to the ground).Overall it is a good product and value for money
