Happy a gadget like this exists. Took all my photos off the ipad and will cancel my cloud account, don’t need it any longer. I like that these flash drives work on multiple types of platforms.

Worked for a while allowing me to transfer a couple thousand photos to my computer. The gemiky, sliding mechanism is troublesome and usb side does not want to go into usb slot on computer. Most recently after transferring 309 photos to flash drive the memory stick went dark and can’t be detected by iPad or computer. Luckily the photos are still in a deleted photo album for thirty days allowing me the opportunity to retrieve and download to another devise. Knew it was crappy when I first handled it but was shocked that it would fail while loaded with my photos. It gets one star simply because I can’t give it a zero

I bought this item to free up space in my iphone and to store pictures on a mobile device. When I received the flash drive I was a tad annoyed that the instruction pamphlet that was included was only in Chinese and, therefore, useless to me. I had to google instructions online, however, when I plugged in the drive into my iphone to wait for the pop-up: nothing happened! I did figure out that I had to go to the app store and download the app. After that, it was still not quite clear how to transfer my photos so I went by "trial and error". I was planning to store all my current photos (1,300 total) on this device but it's been over an hour and it's only at number 375...I was hoping for a quick and convenient way to free up storage on my phone and to have my photos on a portable device. I will wait to see what happens next but I may reduce my rating from 3 to 2 stars if more issues arise. I must admit I am disappointed.

I was so disappointed because I really wanted this to work. This is the first item I have ever returned! But it didn't work. When I first plugged it in, it didn't copy stuff over ocrrectly. Someone said to format the disk, and that seemed to work, so I got a few things copied over and was happy. Then it didn't work again. I reformatted and it worked. Then the button broke off! I put the button back on, it seemed to work, and then it broke off again! And then, lastly, I put it in my phone and the phone didn't even recognize it. By this time, I had had enough. Returned. :( My first thing that I ever returned to Amazon.

Download the app onto your phone when you're off and running it's pretty easy to use

The included instrctions are useless. I plugged this into my iPad and downloaded the app from the App Store. Unfortunately none of the instruction pictures or content matched what I was able to bring up or see. I finally got some documents to transfer by opening them and selecting export, designating format to use. They appear to now be safely on the drive, where I want them. Tried to backup my contact list but I get a bunch or blank circles and the instruction to set password. Nowhere does it say where or how to do this. I wouldn’t mind saving a copy of my photos but the instructions don’t match up with screen content. Save your money and find another device.

I gave it one star because I had to to write a review. These connect to I pad or I phone, you download the app and when you try to move a file, it says external file error. You can't put anything on it. ! Grrrrr
