Keenan Farms Shelled Kernel Roasted Pistachio with Sea Salt, 36-Ounce Jug

I was hesitant to buy such a large container in case they were not good-tasting. But I took a chance...The flavor of the nuts is very good and fresh and it is the cheapest way to buy a lot of pistachios that I could find.

I'm a pistachio person. I've tasted pistachio's from around the world and these pistachio's are the best in the world as far as I'm concerned.Be warned............... once you taste these pistachios, you won't like anything you ever buy in the grocery store, or another online retailer. These are the best grown and packaged in the world, bar none, I know, I've tasted over 25 varieties of pistachio and Keenan Farms does it best!!!!

I like this big jug, It's nice to have around and good to get derived on subscribe and save. I usually prefer raw unsalted nuts. But these are not so salty as to make them unpleasant and the availability of subscribe and save makes it easier for me that hunting down elusive raw unsalted pistachios. So far after several deliveries I've only gotten fresh batches. So, I have to say overall I'm pleased.

I was looking for a less expensive alternative to Wonderful roasted and shelled pistachios and decided to try these. Let's just say you get what you pay for and if you like a large tub of stale and tasteless pistachios, these are for you. Otherwise, I'm going to agree with another reviewer and suggest you go with Kirkland brand...they are awesome and worth every penny.

way too expensive for the quality and the taste

I like the container more than I like the nuts. I'll be putting Wonderful pistachios in there, when I'm done with these. Oh, they're crunchy alright. But, I don't taste much "sea salt" at all. I even emailed the company about that and they responded that they would consult with their quality control or, somebody along those lines. I also mentioned that they didn't really taste that "pistachio-y". Perhaps, that was due to the roasting. Overall, although pistachios are generally expensive, I thought these were especially-expensive, given their taste or, the lackthereof. I even added some sea salt to the container and that didn't help that much, either. I don't like giving bad reviews when I bother to do so. I just wish they tasted better for the price.

We find these pistachio's from Keenan Farms to be very tasty. Not rancid at all as some have claimed. The price is good for shelled kernels much easier to eat. We will most likely order more when this jar is close to being gone. If you were to order the pistachios with the shell on they would cost a lot more for the amount of kernels you would get.

These are so tasty, though the only issue becomes eating too many as you don't have to worry about breaking open a shell [G] A bit more in price than the ones at some wholesalers, but these are much better quality and have yet to encounter a bad nut!
