good game, petty clans though
first off I like this game, the single player is strange... it doesnt matter how much you die as if you do, you become one of the other soldiers fighting along side you. the only way to lose is for your whole squad to die, but you get re-enforced all the time so there isnt much chance of that. i like the little details where you can change the barrel of a machine gun if it gets too hot or use iron sights of a sniper rifle if some on is too close.the issue i have with it is the online community clans. you die all the time so dont expect to get hundreds of kills as its not cod and is quite realistic in the sense you get shot in your gut, your gonna die. the issue is that whenever your getting a decent kill streak on a clan server and making them look like fools they kick you off thus making you lose your xp. the french clans seem to be worse for this.its happened 8 times now which is a joke as im not a camper or cheater, i just run about and shoot anyone i see thats an enemy...anyway, i would recommend you buy it as its great fun and i'd say find a decent non clan based server to play online with.

Good Multiplayer
A classic for Russia Vs Germany in World War 2Red Orchestra 2 is a fun game to play in multi-player and will have you addicted for hours.When it arrived it came in a secure package and with no damage, allowing me to install and play it straight away with little to no fuss what-so-ever. The only thing to watch out for is making sure your machine can run it (Comptuers with on-board graphics like Intel HD need to turn on shadows, or the levels don't load properly).One con is that its not a single player game. You will get bored very quickly when playing with bots.

Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad
A very novel approach to first person shooters and very addictive. Once you have completed the Basic Training go online and play with others. More often than not, you will get 'killed' quite rapidly but after a while you will get to know the places to hide and shoot from. As you progress through the game you get access to more advanced weapons.It has to be installed through the Steam client which I find a pain. But it does give plenty of servers for playing online.

One of the best pc shooters out, am new to PC gaming and was told by a friend that this is up there for realistic shooters. It's amazing to be in a war zone were am scared to pop my head out for a second. Am not very good at the min mainly because am used to console arcade shooters and I run into battle all the time and in seconds bang!. Event hours I die a lot I enjoy this game so much if u like realistic shooters in ww2 eastern front fighting this is for u get it its amazing.

good ww2 first person shooter
great atmospheric ww2 fps set in stalingrad street fighting backdrop. Close and personal, great sound effects and graphics really bring it to life.Downside to single player is that your fellow troops are dumb! But really comes to life in multiplayer
