For the price, the item is pretty good but there are a few draw backs. The notebooks papers are very thin and transparent, I'm having to skip every other page. Even when I used pencil, you could see the writing on the next page. Half way through my notebooks, the printed dots started to go missing.

The paper is very thin (you can read through it). And the covers are very thin too. Once the books are taken out of their package, the covers start to curl up. So after about 1 hour, they are curled up over an inch from the inner pages.

First of all, the positive: The stitching is really beautiful, and it helps the book lie flat. However: the paper's not great. I bought it because of the description that says no bleed. Well - it doesn't bleed, but it ghosts terribly. I don't mind a little housing, but unless your writing with a pencil, it ghosts. It's also flimsy and has too much tooth for my taste.The corners aren't rounded, which can be seen on the pictures. I didn't notice, but that's my fault. Overall, a decent scratch pad for on the go, but not a keeper.

As you can see in the picture, I used to write everything on a huge piece of paper on the wall of the attic. They were multiple downsides to this method: writing is only possible when I am physically next to the wall. Second, some parts of the paper are hard to reach and you need to write in weird positions to make use of all the paper (very entertaining for my fish,Chloe)But! These portable notebooks made a huge difference in my life. Taking them with me everywhere, I have become more social and can actually spend a lot of time out and with my friends. I can also categorize my thoughts into 4 sections: Diary, To do, Ideas and haphazard thoughts that make no sense and cannot be fit into a tangible subject (that’s what I wrote on notebook No.4)I really appreciate the quality and it’s humble yet unique design. It really feels like it was handmade! I’m very happy with it...Thumbs up!

These notebooks were perfect. I wanted inserts for a 4x5 leather notebook I was making, as the journal I already had was too small (about 3x4). These inserts were the exact size I wanted and a price low enough that I'm not going to try and go to the trouble of making my own inserts. Will definitely repurchase.Update - Six months later, I bought a second set and they are also fantastic. I love the quality of the paper, and the covers are perfect for decoupage.

These cute little notebooks can be used for so many different things! I purchased them for kid's gift bags for my daughter's wedding, but, they are awesome for simple journaling, or prayer requests, or any number of things. They have such a sweet charm that sets them apart from the typical spiral style notepad. Happy with the purchase and will most likely purchase more in the future.

I love going to craft fairs and bazaars so I can find fun, cute and handmade gifts for my friends and family during the holiday season. But sometimes I just do not have the time nor energy to hit up these sales to find these things and love when I can find them online. I received this handmade notebook in exchange for my honest opinion.This adorable notebook is small and perfect to keep in a purse or briefcase for quick notes (grocery lists!) or to entertain kiddos for doodling when out and about or like I decided to use it for writing down writing ideas for the books I'll probably never actually write! I love the stamping on the front and it is structured well so I could feel very positive about giving this as a gift in part of a small gift basket or as a stocking stuff.

Really cool notebook. Easily fits in a shirt pocket. I gave them to my brother who gives plumbing quotes to residential customers and then he runs the jobs from his notes. The "top secret" verbiage on the notebooks give the (light hearted) statement that this is a professional doing serious work. Allows him to let the customers know he respects them. Yet, at the same time, shows he is probable fun to deal with. Maybe I am making a bit of an overstatement, but the notebooks are "way cool" and help my brother separate himself and his plumbing business from the competitors. This is what is called "Branding", essential for success in any business.
