DeLeon Collections Guardian Octopus On Deep See Treasure Chest Trinket Box

Want this so badly, but I’ve ordered two with the silver paint peeling off/ or sloppily painted. Both cases in front or top where it’s noticeable. Ordering one more. Hopefully they’re not all like this & third times the charm.Otherwise it’s a great size & a good weight.I’ll update after receiving third one.'UPDATE: Third one was relatively better than the first two, but still some paint issues. Wanted to keep it enough I was able to touch it up the bad paint spots slightly with a silver metallic sharpie, The color difference is only noticeable if you look closely. Bought some metallic pirate coins to keep inside. Displaying on my dresser. Beside the paint issue I LOVE it as a decor piece. Gave back one extra star.

I got this for a Christmas gift for my adult son who loves octopi. It looks cool, and is larger than I was expecting. I think the screws on the hinge are not strong enough to open and shut it a lot. They may be a bit shorter than they should be, but I suppose my son won't be opening and shutting it a lot, but just looking at it, so since it is pretty cool in appearance, that is OK.It looks so cool that my husband, when he saw it, said, "Wow! I would have wanted one for myself when I was younger!" LOL.

Once you subtract the ornate design, this box is smaller than advertised. An inch shorter on length and width. (Yes, I measured)And when you take away the thickness, you have about 4in x 2in of store space , with about 2 1/2 inches of height.However, it is very sturdy and cool design, I really dig the octopus. But will most likely be gifted away as it's too small to suit my needs.

I got this as a gift for my friend who loves octopus. I didn’t read the full product description, so I was pleasantly surprised by the size. I thought this would be a small trinket box, but the base of it is actually bigger than my hand!! It also has a nice weight to it. My friend loved the gift and says she’s going to put it on display in her houseAwesome find!!

I was very pleased with this, only thing is screws in the hinged could have been dealth with a tad better.

This was so much better than I was expecting. Good solid box. The only thing that was wrong with it was a bent hinge because the material was too heavy-- hardly a thing to complain about. Got it for my cousin; she loved it!

The 1st one of these had a very loose lid and loose screws. Lid is almost too heavy for the tiny screws used to secure base to lid. Good looking enough for me to order a second which came in just fine.

This looks GREAT !!! Well made. Can’t wait to give it to my nephew for Christmas
