Hand free device for house
Very good product! It’s amazing. So glad I had bought this one. It’s easy to control electric devices from your Smartphone. Hand free to turn on or off your lamp when you need it. I always go out at night. I don’t like keep the light on in front of my house. So I bought this smart plug, when I home I just turn the light on from my phone. It is such a good helper you deserve to have!

Works great, a little tricky to setup for Alexa
I have several outlet switches that work with Alexa but it has been a while since I set them up. I use the Smart Life app with 2 of them so I figured this outlet would fit right in. First off the written instructions assume you have nothing installed so most of the information is how to install the Smart Life and Alexa apps. For the Smart Life app to detect the device, the outlet's 2 LEDs need to be blinking blue. To achieve the blue blink, press the outlet's power button twice to turn them blue, then hold the button down until they blink. This is the reset procedure. In the Smart Life app you can easily see how to assign a name to the device (pencil in upper right corner, see photo). The Alexa app quickly found that name (Outlet), but you can only turn both AC outlets on or off with that name. To rename each outlet you have to hold you finger down on the button/name (circled in photo). That may be standard for the app or iOS, but it took me some fumbling to figure it out. After that I went to the Alexa app and had it search for new devices and it found the 2 individual AC outlets. I told it to search for an outlet device and for manufacturer I selected "Other".It wasn't a 10 minute setup, but it was under an hour. Hopefully these details will save some people time.

Does not reset or work
I purchased the 3 outlet + 3 USB ports Smart Power Strip and two of the wireless mini WiFi remote control power switch plugs. The first mini WiFi plug setup easily and works great. But, the power strips will not set up or go into a blinking mode (so this review is for that particular item). All I get from the item is an amber light that, no matter what steps I take, will not flash in order to add to the app and set up. Unlike the mini WiFi plugs, there is no green or blue light when I power on the item. I will likely return this item because it DOES NOT operate as advertised.

Great smart multi plug!
This is a really nice smart plug with multiple plugs and usb. It’s a really nice convienence with having the usb built in. Add in the ability to name each outlet so that it can be controlled by name with Alexa or google and you can’t go wrong! The only thing is to remember the usb are not independently controlled meaning they are always on.Once received I started the TuyaSmart app and followed the instructions in it to connect a new device which did not connect right away the first time. After it timed out, I started the process again but touched my phone to the plug and then it connected instantly. Not really sure that had anything to do with it though. All in all it’s a great device for the price and added control for a smart home. I am getting a few more!

I want more!
I ordered this to power my Christmas tree on and off instead of knocking ornaments off each time I reached around to the outlet. It has worked perfectly and I’m already thinking of ways to use it after taking the tree down. It’s super convenient.

Work great!
Original 1/29/2019:Cost effective, they work fast, easy to setup, and compatible with Google Home and Alexa. Not to mention the instructions they provide are to the T. Great stuff.AND the double socket is WIDE but it doesn't stop you from using *most* 3 prong plugs. (Which is the biggest problem I've found with smart wall sockets).I would get more, but I would have to get more devices/smartdevices!Update: 3/22/2019I have one unit that works perfectly and one unit that failed after about 55 days of consistent use (2 wall plugs, 1 usb plug).I e-mailed the customer service team who walked me through troubleshooting before replacing not just the malfunctioning unit, but sent me 2 because they are awesome.I tested both units and all ports work well on the new units.Excellent product and customer service.I hope the trend continues. :)

Weird Problem
This is a rather simple wifi plug strip. On-Off, alarm & countdown. App is ok. What is not OK is what I recently discovered. The USB port drains power from your device when there is no power to the plug. Recently we had a power outage at night. As usual my new iPhone SE was plugged in to this strip to charge overnight. Power went off at 1:30 am. When I got up at 7:00 am the phone was dead,. It had been at around 75% charged. So I looked at the battery usage and there is a sharp decline from when the power went off. Wow. Never had that happen before. So I did an experiment. I turned off the breaker to the plug and was able to duplicate the issue. Moral of the story is the USB charger on this is poor quality.
