Exactly what I wanted for an unbeatable price.
Just got my Essential Supplements chocolate BHB powder. This is a first impression review- I'll add more once I get keto strip readings. The flavor is fantastic. The serving size is larger than the other stuff I have. Both have 12g BHB salts- the ES product has the MCT powder included so it makes sense. I have gone without a chocolate BHB powder for a while, so I made my favorite beverage with it- chai with coconut cream, with a half scoop of the supplement. It's a tad sweeter than I am used to but that's totally OK. They use stevia and monk fruit so there's no aftertaste. It's delightfully chocolatey. I am very happy with this product so far, the quality is up there with those 60 dollar tubs. Looks like those brands just lost a customer! I am one hundred percent behind accessibility.Update: Still 5 stars. I recently went off keto for a while. I decided to go keto again and used this product to help me get into ketosis. Less than 48 hours later, I have dropped the water I had retained (~10 lbs.) and am in ketosis, albeit assisted by this product. Delicious, definitely worth a try!
This powder is pretty good! We just started keto yesterday and bought this because it was on my husband’s “can’t live without” list, he loves chocolate and this seemed like a good way to curb the craving while actually helping promote ketosis. I’m not that big into chocolate, especially chocolate drinks. As soon as this arrived I tried it, I was coming off a 16 hour fast. It’s delicious! Seriously, no aftertaste, very slight unnoticeable chemical taste and it’s not like I’m adapted to these powders to not taste them.I couldn’t finish a whole serving with 10 oz of unsweetened almond milk. I threw it in the blender though and it’s well blended, rich and chocolatey. Pic is how far I got before I felt too full to continue! I already tested before and ketones we’re starting to show up, I’ll wait an hour or two and test again to see if they’ve increased! Definitely feel a surge of energy and awake after a sluggish fast!

Bitter Chocolate Taste
Tried it with hot coffee, then tried it with almond milk. I'm not a big fan of the taste but it goes down and stays down. Had to drink fast to get it over with. Noticed that when mixed with my almond milk it quickly separates and there was water at the bottom and all chocolate separated to the top (even when I put in blender). Had to mix and drink like a shot.Not sure if it was all in my head but I did feel a bit more energized and mental clarity was noticeable. Not looking forward to the taste but I plan to use more consistently since I paid for it. Not sure if I'll purchase another one. Although I hate swallowing pills I may try keto bhb pills next time to avoid this taste.

Quality product for a good price
I bought this product on a whim,after running out of my GNC Keto powder.I was looking for cheaper alternative,that still supported my keto lifestyle.This product BEYOND exceeded my expectations.It blends really well and I immediately noticed an extra boost in energy.Its definitely a must try!

GREAT TASTE!!
I struggle to get into a ketotic state so I have tried several different brands of exogenous ketones and I can honestly say this is hands down the best! Doesn’t have that funky taste to it. I mix mine with unsweetened almond milk and a little ice and it makes an awesome shake. Checked my strips and I was very quickly in moderate ketosis! I will definitely continue to buy this and use it. Highly recommend!!

Taste is meh, but great value for the money!
For the amount, and the price, the flavor is expected. It’s not great. Tip to the manufacturer, monk fruit as a sweetener is a bad plan in chocolate. Straight xylitol and stevia would have worked just fine. There’s a distinctly acidic taste to this(it’s probably the monk fruit, but just in case it isn’t)so adding some finely powdered calcium to the mixture would offset that taste. It’s still drinkable if you put it in coffee with a lot of heavy cream and some powdered coconut oil. Not the worst thing I’ve ever tasted, and I think it’s an exaggeration to say that it’s undrinkable. Other than that, I’m sure I’ll get result from it, since my body is already in ketosis.

Stealthily Switched Sweetener
Sucralose??!! Are you kidding??!! This manufacturer, Essential Supplements, stealthily switched the sweetener to an inferior one without notice. When I reorder a product from Amazon, I expect to get the same product as before. This was my fifth order. I was previously very happy with this brand. It was sweetened with stevia and monk fruit. These are the healthiest sweeteners I know of. But this time, I noticed that the flavor was way too sweet. I checked the ingredients and saw "sucralose" instead of stevia and monk fruit. The label looked the same as before. There was no note, such as, "new sweetener." I returned to the Amazon page and saw no mention of it. Only the second photo showing the back had changed to show the updated ingredients. Congratulations, Essential Supplements, you tricked me good. You should be ashamed of yourselves. I am, of course, returning the product.
