Loopies High Quality Magnetic Reading Glasses. Unisex, Adjustable, and Comfortable

The glasses are a great idea, but they don't seem to be very durable.The first pair lasted quite awhile, but then the plastic holding one of the magnets in place broke, and that was the end of that.So I bought another pair and tried to be more careful.In a short time, I noticed that the screw holding one of the temples kept coming loose. I was having to tighten it every other day.I contacted the manufacturer who said that I had to go through Amazon to get the problem sorted out. Amazon said I had to contact the seller directly.The thing with Amazon is that they only want to know if the problem occurs within 30 days. It had been a couple of months before I got fed up tightening it all the time.So I've stopped wearing them. Shame, too, because I prefer them to anything else that I've found. But if that screw falls out, I can't use them, and I can't risk not having reading glasses.

We've bought cheaper. 3 pairs. All have broken. One broke in transit. The supplier was unhelpful and we've never had a refund. So I hope these will fare better. They seem more robust - thought a little hard to get the magnet aligned just by touch while putting them on. And they knock off the hearing aid - but I think with practice, him indoors will get the hang of them. Time will tell. So far so good.

The first day (yesterday) I was having problems getting the glasses to join when wearing them, although they quickly joined themselves each time I took them off. Today I have had no such problems, so I think the join was just awkward and stiff until it had been used several times.

Great quality. I've been using pull apart magnetic reading glasses for over a year now. They are a great idea, easy to keep ready for use, and losses and misplacements have become almost a thing of the past. The first pair I bought in the USA was good. I then made the mistake of buying several pairs of cheap ones - they had poor optical quality, were prone to scratching, and structurally weak. These "Loopies" are the best yet. A good investment.

I bought three pairs of these glasses and really like them. However, in all three the magnets have a tendency to pull free from their recesses. This is a design flaw and can be corrected with superglue. More worrying is that the nose bridge has broken on two pairs and cannot be repaired.Loopies need to design a more robust nose bridge and better secure the magnets. Perhaps less powerful magnets could also be used to prevent them coming loose in the first place, or have them fully encapsulated in plastic where they should still provide a magnetic connection.

These are great. As an individual who has to keep is hands free and only requires glasses for reading and close inspection work i was always misplacing my glasses. These allow me the freedom to remove my glasses and not worry about misplacing them. They are very sturdy, are easy to work and fit really well with the adjustable arms. They are an excellent product

These loopies are great. As somebody who needs glasses only for reading, I have lots of pairs around the house.These work well as they just hang around your neck. they are not bad looking either.The magnetic catch is pretty strong.They feel a little awkward at first putting them on, but after a few time you will get your own technique.I love em..and what a great idea.
