The print version is an excellent book. My map is used for Los Angeles - pages 136-7. I was given one copy, and bought 20 to send as gifts.However, the Kindle edition leaves out ALL the images. What is the point? Other Kindle books have images, so why not this one? Pointless, unless you just want to have the text handy. Save your money.Skip the Kindle version and buy the print edition.

Typos within the first 30 pages?!??How does an editor completely miss an absent page?Between 22 and 23 an entire section has disappeared.Shabby shabby

The landscapes are well chosen and the essays do add a new dimension to classic books. Good for dipping and thinking.

Good quality matte paper, many illustrations.Great gift for an avid reader.
