Bad Vinyl Pressing
This two star rating is not for the music itself but the quality of the vinyl. First let me say I love Gregory Isaacs this indeed is his best album in my opinion the man has a beautiful voice for reggae however, I purchased this record because I’ve searched for it all around my area and no one has this so decided to go ahead and buy it here to have a nice addition to my small collection. My setup is an Audio Technica LP-120 with a Nagoaka Mp110 cartridge not a bad setup at all but when got to the last song on side A/Material Man it started to sound really horrible lots of drag I actually stopped it to check my turntable it’s the record itself I won’t say every song is unlistenable but a good portion of it is. Do yourself a favor and avoid this on vinyl and they put the same label on both sides of the record......Disappointed

Old school irie rhythms, excellent mastering!
The title track hints at the beauty of this release. If you need some reggae excellence not of Bob Marley, this and Third world’s 96 degrees in the Shade are recommended. Older people with diagnosed “Reggaemylitis” will probably agree.Highly recommended and an essential.

Vinyl - bad
This vinyl is really terrible, 2008 tads record pressing. Sounds like the second side of the album speeds up and slows down. Tons of popping as well. Don’t buy.

Good album , but faulty pressings.
Love this album but it had a small chunk of what looked like white plastic embedded into the first track ( Night Nurse) . The stylus kept sticking at this point so I had to completely skip the track , which was a shame as I had specially bought the album for this song.Rather than go through the hassle of returning it I ordered another copy as I thought it was a one off manufacturing fault. The second copy did exactly the same & has a piece of white plastic embedded in the same place. This means that I am now in possession of two faulty copies. It appears that the supplier must have a complete batch of albums with this manufacturing fault & I can’t afford to take the chance on ordering another copy for this one track.
