This little RC is just an excellent present! The box is very presentable and nice looking. The car comes with 2 rechargeable batteries which are small and there is actually a lot of space left in the compartment if anyone would like to do an upgrade and stick a couple of 18650’s in it instead, looks like they would fit but you would have to take the plug from one of the old batteries and re solder it. For $15 buck it is a find guys! Even with the little batteries it works about 20 minutes on grass and the remote control is very nice too and when the car is almost gone out of view it is still catching the signal without any issues! Also included some spare parts for the suspension in case if something breaks, which is really nice! The remote needs 4 aaa batteries if I recall correctly. Buy it while it’s available you won’t regret it! I bought 2, one for my 5 year old, although it is stated on the box 8 or 9 +, and the other one for his friend. Then I went back to buys some more and the price went up to $33 lol. But now it’s back to $14.99 I believe.Edit: Bought 5 more of these babies guys, while they were on sale!

I order this for my son, first impression is really good: nice box, feels like well engineered and put together, even has some extra parts. The doc says that batteries have to be charged first to avoid memory effect, which we did, first time it went very well, though the charger light turned green only after 20 min on each battery. Then no way to charge those batteries again, the charger light turns green and it stops (batteries are cold), when put in the car it can only do a couple of feet... really sad, as my kid got this for Xmas and could play only about 30 min, very frustrating, and customer support not really responsive so far, asking if I had paired the remote with the car... we'll see if it gets any better.

Fun little car to see if your kid will actually stay interested enough to justify spending more on a real RC. Comes with two battery packs. I noticed one of them clearly didn't last as long as the other one. That weak battery stopped accepting a charge after no more than a dozen charges. The better battery stopped charging after maybe two dozen charges total. Now I've got a paperweight.I looked into replacement batteries (from other suppliers!), but they are almost as much money as the entire package was originally. Based on the charging behavior and the cost of replacement batteries, I'm guessing the company includes re-cycled/re-conditioned batteries that are at the end of their lives to keep the cost way down.

I purchased four units for my grandkids ages 5 thru 7, and I am immensely pleased with the cars and their performance. The units come with lots of spare parts and a spare battery with charger. They auto sync to each cars r/c channels so all four can be run at the same time . (Turn and sync each car on one at a time). The speed and range (>100 ft) were excellent. Battery life was 20 to 30 minutes. The forward and reverse speed is variable, but the right or left turn is discrete (full left,straight, full right). I’d like a variable turn control but for the price I’m very satisfied.

This product is a steal for $20!it comes with 2 small lithium batteries, which last longer than my other $40 rc car.it not as fast because its a crawler but can climb almost anything.comes with extra parts if the suspension brakes. which I've read it will but hasn't yet!

My 3 year old is a horrible driver so he is banned from my TRAXAS. Also the traxas is way too fast for him. This is a cheap alternative for him to join me.Pros- Pretty durable considering he holds down the trigger and runs into everything. It did break after a month of hard use so I got another one and use the first for extra parts.- replaceable parts (and they supply some of the most common parts with the truck)Cons- Battery life (they give two batteries) but i needed to get a couple of more.- Speed. It is a medium speed. I wish it was slower for to make it easier for my son to control

When you look at RC cars, you can spend $20-$500. I bought this for my 5 year old, so I picked the cheapest one. I am pleasantly surprised at the durability, speed, ease of use, and its ability to go over rough terrain. Excellent car for the money!

my son loves it! This is his first real RC car and he is age 7. He’s having a blast running around and the fact that it has spare parts that comes with it is wonderful!!!! it’s so easy that we can take the parts off replace them and he can keep on playing. Great buy for a beginner !
