It’s a great starter garden, I wish it was made of a more common pipe. I’d like to make some mods but 7/8s is hard to come by.

Good value and works well. My only complaint is that a few of the elbows had cracks in them. I would have noticed immediately, but I didn’t run the system until my grow solution arrived.

Update Sep 16, 2019: Since the last update, I've had to add an overflow hole (for the water to run back to the reservoir before going through all the pipes) and turn the pump down. This is because the plant roots are starting to clog the tubes to the point where water won't flow through quickly enough. Instead, it comes out the holes in the top - hence the overflow to prevent this. In retrospect, this is obvious, but I still had hoped for a better outcome.I'm not deducting any stars for this because some folks might simply harvest the whole plant once it grows to size, in which case the roots probably won't get dense enough to clog the system. However, I'm trying to do cut and come again, leaving the plants in place.---Update Aug 13, 2019: I took the system apart to clean/drain it and reassembled... and basically every connection leaked. I had to use PVC primer/cement to join all the parts together, and now, no leaks. So count on needing to glue the parts together if you don't want leaks!---Just assembled this kit and got some seeds started a few days ago. I'll update this review once the seeds start sprouting and growing.The parts fit together easily with no glue needed (and no leaks, more importantly). The included pump is small but does the job for a basic RDWC system. I did wish the legs provided were about 6 inches longer; I had to flip the legs upside down and add some extra height using spare pipe parts to get the drain pipe above the rim of my 5-gallon bucket reservoir.The included foam cubes (intended to help you start seeds and/or hold the plants in place, I'm guessing) float readily and don't really absorb much water, making them pretty hard to use. I cut up some rock wool to fit in the net pots instead, which doesn't float.Overall, it looks way nicer than my previous lettuce rafts and uses way less water.

I bought 2 of these and ended up having to join them to make one because the pvc connector to the hose someone during manufacturing sealed another pipe to it so I couldn't connect or couple it to the big PVC pipe with the pots. After a month of having it one of the pumps already broke, at this rate I will probably buy a better one and hope I can get the fittings to match if not just feed it through one of the cup holes. The only thing I was surprised with is the system did not leak, I tried to build my own and it leaked everywhere. If you are new to hydroponics and have the money it may be worth a shot to play with but long term it's not going to last long.

I got this system for my boyfriend for Christmas. He loved it! He put it together easily (note: he’s mechanically inclined so I don’t know if I would have had the same experience) and the pump works as expected. It comes with instructions for seeding and we will start that in a week. I also bought a grow light in case we need more light and some extra seeding sponges and grow cups. After doing some research online we decided to purchase the Flora series nutrients (3 pack). Finally, we purchased a black bucket as our water reservoir because we learned that keeping light out of the water/nutrient solution prevents algae and bacteria growth. Overall we’re excited to get started.

Could not hook up the elbow part from the hose to the tube because the part was not in the box. Do NOT tip the machine or you will have water every place. It really doesn't drain that fast. So their is water in all the tubes all the time when the pump is not on. Was easy to put together. For the price I guess its all right.

It is a nice 52 site hydro table, it is the perfect size for my 3x3 tent! EL

Pump sucks. It doesn’t pump strong enough. Also if need to replace PVC, good luck getting 3/4” pipe that fits. This product sucks
