Looking for a way to evenly slice homemade bread. I noticed the very inexpensive ones had uniformly poor reviews as did the most expensive model so I decided on this mid price one. It arrived with a piece broken but easily repaired. It requires a bit of maneuvering to keep the bread steady and did shed a couple of slivers of bamboo. It doesn’t adapt to different lengths or widths of loaf. Nevertheless I’m using it and does turn out even slices.

I've used this a few times and the biggest thing for me is how easy it is to keep the whole area clean. Also, very easy to use for challah - cuts through very easily and quickly.

The crumb catcher just plum fell apart, don't dispare, it's easily fixable, it just needs a bit of glue. Ok, you need a bread knife that is about 9 or 10" long, and that's not counting the handle, or you will be off course. Just toss the crumb catcher....seriously. you have thin slices on one side, and fat ones one the other side. It's good, just need a long bread knife.

The bags won't fit a 2lb loaf from a breadmaker which defeats the purpose of buying this package. 0 stars for the bags and 3 for the slicer since it does work sort of...

It is a good quality bread slicer. I like the bamboo material. The crumb catch tray can be a nice tray for a daily use.

Bread slicer is very nice, easy to adjust for different size slices. You have to hold the bread from moving as you slice. Looks great and work great to cut whole breads into slices. The concept is wonderful and will keep the bread slicer. This product should not be placed in the dishwasher. A simple wipe with with a damp cloth is all that is needed

Could not slice the bread through. The bottom of the slicer does not allow the bread to be sliced through. I returned the bread slicer and did not received the refund on May 10th. It shows that it was refunded, but it does not show refunded to my account.
