This has been my daily driver for a number of years.
My two complaints are this gets stolen a lot and the epoxy that holds the head to the handle may break apart after a year of use. You would think that theft would not be so bad within the Union Carpenter ranks, but it’s been rampant since the days of the Great Recession. The fix for the epoxy problem is to apply new epoxy. Of course you will need to reset the head and clean up the old stuff before applying new epoxy. The reason I stick to this hammer is it does a good job in all positions and it does what titanium hammers can’t do in awkward spots.

Great hammer!!
I have several framing hammers--Estwing 22oz milled and smooth, Estwing 19oz Ultra Series and just got this Vaughan. This thing is incredible!! Great feel and balance. The head design is the best of the bunch

Best damn hammer on the market
This is the best framing hammer and concrete form hammer a carpenter should have. This hammer has a large mill face for gripping nails. A sharp claw for for quick picking lumber. Has large side face to side strike nails. This hammer is well balanced, a 21 ounce that feels like around 16 ounce. Very well built.

Did not realize handle is fiberglass
I should have read the description a little more closely, did realize the handle is fiberglass. My fault plus I got it on sale so I can’t complain too much. I would recommend itsa buy.

Gold standard
This hammer helped build America. It’s not a fancy $300+ hammer. It drives nails. Doesn’t get much better than this for the price!
