Rit Dye Liquid 8oz-Coral

This product is excactly as described. Bought it to dye a plushy natural skin color and it worked perfectly.

Easy to use, worked really well on a pair of faded trousers. I used a bucket to dye then rinsed in the shower- no residue left in the bucket, shower, or washing machine after use!

The Nakoma Rit liquid dye worked really well for restoring my washed-out jeans back to a deep black.The colour took evenly and made a noticeable difference straight away, bringing old, faded denim back to life. Used this to dye three very similar colour items at the same time in the washing machine. All cotton.Followed on line instructions.Each item came out a different colour.One blue ish one light green and third mid green.A bit puzzled.

I purchased this to put the colour back into one in my daughter’s green hoodies from TopShop. It didn’t work.The instructions for the dye are indecipherable and seem to be made for US washing machines. I found a YouTube video that RIT had sponsored which was also fairly useless and just skipped key steps. If you have a stand-alone machine you may achieve better results. However, having a built-under washing machine makes it virtually impossible to pour in almost two litres of boiling water (4 cups water and salt/ four cups of water and dye) without scalding yourself or covering your cupboard doors/ worktop/ washing machine/ floor with dye (in my case fluorescent green). You need to get this water into the top feed tray before the washing machine finishes the flushing of the powder/ liquid. Also once you’re past 40 years old there’s no chance of you reading the instructions on the bottle which may as well have been printed on microfiche.Basically it has ruined my daughter’s hoodie top (which was a faded lime green to start with). The dye is patchy with dark green areas - a total mess and I subsequently had to purchase a new jogging top to replace it.However, please also note that RIT would like you to purchase a dye fixer (another £10). That’s £20 in total, making it fairly uneconomical considering a replacement hoodie is £35 delivered. And wait for it, some garments may need more than one bottle of dye... bargain!My advice would be to save your money and either tie dye when it’s at the end of its life or just buy new.

I tried a different brand previously and was disappointed with the results, as it made no difference whatsoever, this one however worked perfectly and my jeans are black all over once againI'd definitely use again

Needed this to put on my sofa as the material colour was coming off. Excellent match, easy to apply and did the job the sofa looks great again

10/10 This stuff is absolutely amazing 💯 % I've always had doubts about dyes but can honestly say this does what it says on the bottle. I had some liquid to clean the patio and it splashed onto my pants stripping the colour like bleach would do...this stuff had my pants back to as good as new...don't hesitate just buy it !

Horrible! Para empezar, el color es azul, no es verde. Y para acabar, no tiñe fibras sintéticas, como sí afirman en el anuncio. Lo quería para teñir unas zapatillas de deporte. Adjunto fotos de lo mal que se han quedado. Deberían indemnizar por las prendas dañadas. Tengo que tirar a la basura estas zapatillas porque están detenidas y ya no me las puedo poner así.

It turned red

Absolutely love this dye! I've purchased way too many times to count. Works perfect on navy blue jeans turning them a darker blue and not black (I've tried the navy color and this works even better for a darker navy hue). Can't recommend this product enough! Just make sure the water level is not at the draining point in your washing machine otherwise the dye will all go down the drain. I use this once a week and when it's about midway through the bottle I add about 1/4 water and shake it up to make the bottle last longer. If I'm washing about 3-4 pairs of jeans I don't use more than a 1/3 cup and they always come out perfect! Hang dry for best results and happy washing 🙂

Mi trovo benissimo con questo prodotto. Addirittura molto meglio di un noto competitor italiano. Ho colorato due capi identici uno con il rit royal blu e uno con il blu marino del moro competitor. Quello con rit è uscito blu, quello del noto competitor azzurro, e ripeto il capo era identico, stesso modello, stesso colore, stessa composizione.Unica pecca è che consigliano di tingere con lavaggio a mano. Assolutamente consigliato.
