maybe another version - washing my hands of 3d printing
a lot of potential but...After only a few prints, this printer has stopped working. Specifically, the Z/vertical positioning has failed, leaving the back right riser part crooked relative to the other three. Very displeased in light of that. More bothered by the amount of time I spent getting into this idea to only have it fail and not at all willing to roll the dice again. Stayed up soooo late learning to cad the part I bought this for and had a perfect rough print, and then dies on the full res/high fill print. Sadness. On the pros, m3d has put the plug and play into printing like no one else (despite this, there is a learning curve and you can expect problems). From the looks of their page, the micro+ or that promega are probably worth the money if you know what you're getting into.

I wouldn't keep this thing if they gave it to me for free!!
RETURNED!!!! This is one of the worst products I have ever dealt with. Minimal instructions with unit arriving disassembled. Getting through that I proceeded to print several things and the printer would do about 2 layers and then the print head keeps moving with no PLA coming out. After weeks of fooling around with it including buying an external reel as they advised inner has problems, tried other makers of PLA, tried other prints...no dice...same result time and time again. Now I know why this was a warehouse deal, it looks like it was returned (probably for the same reasons) and then resold. Avoid this one at all costs!

TLDR: Fantastic entry level printer, easy, affordable, compact, no hassle, but very slow
This is a fantastic entry level 3d printer. It's extremely easy to use, I have spent most of my time using Tinkercad and Thingiverse with it. I purchased a small usb hub, a flexible wire usb fan and light to "upgrade" it with a few more features and used the printer to make clips to attach them to the frame. I have used this to print custom mounts for various things around the house, cool toys\models , and even tools like C-clamps. It's extremely space efficient, a big plus for low desk real-estate. The largest downside to this printer I can find is it's speed. 3D printing is already a slow process, but this little guy it def on the slow side even for them.

Dont waste your money
This printer doesn't produce quality prints, often has failed prints, and constantly has to be recalibrated. The customer support from M3D is poor at best, if they ever respond at all.

Printing right away
I like this printer because it is so light weight and easy to use. Unlike other printers i have met, this one requires no filament guide tube. The filament goes right into the extruder. Also, the printer is fairly quiet so I can work in the same room with less distractions. The Micro prints small projects. This is fine with me because large objects can sometimes take a long time to print. I look forward to many happy hours of building with the Micro. Highly recommended!

Finally a printer for everyone ..!!!
I have owned my M3D printer now for about 9 months. I own 4 3D printers and this one is by far the one that is always going 24/7 365, it is the easiest printer to use, and it's made to be simple to use and ready to go right out of box.I found m3d support to be quick and easy to email, when I had a question, and they got back fast within a short time with just the right solution.I have now printed over 250 WWII models, and i am considering starting a small 3D print business, and want another M3D to be my little work horse..!!Don't let size fool you, this printer is a working hard charging mule..!!I print detailed 15mm war game miniature war gaming models, with my m3d, and it is always printing at my house!when my other 3D printers are down and being fussy about printing, my M3D is just printing away 25 hrs Aday ..!!!I recommend this printer for folks who just want a reliable and easy to use and very compact desk 3D printer ready to go.If your business needs a printer this printers is perfect because it just runs forever, and I know tech support is theirif I ever have more questions ..!!!I am posting some of my militaryworld war 2 vehicles below I did on my m3d printer so check them out ., I love luv luvvvvv my m3d printer ..!!!Joe LetoWaterloo Iowa3D war chest .com

Demasiado anticuada y lenta

You get what you pay for.
This 3D printer was a disappointment. It was my first 3D printer and I chosen this because of reviews found around the net that indicated it as the perfect first 3d printer.True, it was easy to set up and started printing right away, but after a day and night printing, on the first very long print it failed midway, inexplicably.I found out that because of this failed print the nozzle had clogged.Searching through the internet I then experimented and found a way to unclog it without having to turn it in for technical support, but then, it wouldn't print anymore, it would not keep a steady filament feed. Thanks to Amazon I was able to return it after 2 days i had received it for a full refund.Since then, I chose another printer for my 1st 3d printer, I spent 4 times the cost of this one but it's a whole different story. It's true, you get what you pay for.

Flawed Product.
I really do not know where to start with this printer. My advice to anyone would be to research this product online before purchasing, go to the online facebook groups and forums and read as much as you can. This is advertised as a setup and go product, it isn't, if you are prepared to invest the time learning the M3D and it's weak points then I am sure you will get on fine with it but just do not expect great results as quite simply put, it isn't a great printer! For example, much noise is made about the spool being located inside the printer, it arrives and you then read that they recommend you mount it externally!!I sent mine back after a week and during that week I invested a lot of time learning about the device but in the end, it just doesn't deliver what it promises.
