Chillipop Shoes Kids Insulated Snow Boots: Warm & Dry Easy Close, Toddlers/Little Boys & Girls

I almost never write reviews (though i count on them so much i should really write more!) But these boots let the water right into the toes. I see many others have written good reviews, so perhaps ours were just duds.But my 6 year old and I drove up to the snow, she wore them and walked through a snowdrift our very first morning there, and within 10 minutes was crying that her toes were cold and they hurt. I took the boots off in the car and sure enough both her toes were soaked. The toes on these must have had a split that allowed snow/water to just come right on in. Perhaps these would be good if walking on packed snow - however, in snowdrifts they were sadly lacking, and this was just the 5 inch snowdrift we had to walk through to get to the car. Then I had to find a place in Tahoe (very expensive) to buy another pair since we had 3 days left there. Nothing like paying $80 at a ski resort for kids' snowboots that should have been $25. We got stuck in the snow and ice on the way back from the resort, too, which was obviously not the fault of the boots (!), but added to the general very unpleasant first experience my daughter had of snow, her very first morning of seeing it. NOT COOL. i will never purchase from this supplier or manufacturer again.

Really nice snow boot but the sizing is sooooooo hard to understand. I tried and tried to figure it out. Ordered under largest infant size and received a child's size 3. Had to quickly reorder a different pair and from another company for my grandson since it is a Christmas present and they are starting to get snow. Really too bad that their sizing chart is so hard to understand. I will reorder these when he is older and hopefully the chart will be fixed. Very sturdy boot and seems to be well made. If I can get the right size, I will give them 5 stars.

We were going to send these back since we found boots that fit our son that we’d already bought. We ended up keeping these because they fit perfectly and opened wide so that putting them on was fast and easy which is always key with kids. Great boots and great value.

The boots are GREAT, well made and warm. HOWEVER, order a size larger than you need. My girl wears a 2 boot right now, so when her current boots started taking on water, I ordered a size 3 in these thinking they would be a bit big now but maybe, just maybe they would fit her next winter. Boy, was I wrong! The bottoms of these boots were actually SMALLER when I compared them to the size 2s she has right now! I had to send them back, but the size 4 is perfect. So, the moral of my story is: Buy the boots, and buy them at least 1 size if not two bigger than you need. Unless the ones I got were just a total fluke...

True to size. These boots are perfect! My 8 year old love hers!

These were the second pair of snow boots I purchased for my son. The first pair (totally different boot and company) were impossible to get on. They were so small on top that there was no way to get them on my sons feet. I bought these hoping they would be better and they did not dissapoint! The velcro makes it so easy to put these on and take them off. The velcro has held up fine with the snow. Will definitely buy again.

My 6.5yo son has a wide foot and usually wears a size 12. He was completely walking out of theses boots. Way too large. I’m only giving it 3 stars bc even if they did fit, they are fastened only by a somewhat thin Velcro strap and you can’t even pull it very tight. I can see the Velcro coming loose very easily and then your child would step right out of the shoe. Will return and buy a different boot with better support.

My 4-year-old daughter loved wearing these boots during our ski trip. The fit was perfect (we used the manufacturer's size chart) and she never complained about her feet getting cold or wet. I plan to order these again once she outgrows this pair.
