NOT real wood.
These are NOT wood! This is a cheap partical board that already came chipped on the tail. These were a Christmas gift for my mother in law that I will not be giving to her. If water beaded onto these they would be destroyed. They are supposed to be coasters.... Also the third coaster from the head was cut wrong and the "wood grain" is going the wrong way. I usually don't buy items with no reviews, but I went out on a limb. Wrong choice.
