Nielsen-Massey Pure Peppermint Extract for Baking and Cooking, 4 Ounce Bottle

The best company, IMHO, and perhaps also the best flavor.As you'd expect, this is great for baking. Very high quality. Would not use anything else.

Nielsen-Massey Pure Peppermint Extract is a must buy if you are a peppermint lover like I am. This brand is not watered down, it has a bunch of great flavor. I use a tiny capful to add peppermint taste to many things. I add it to hot tea, ice coffee and chocolate smoothies. That tiny capful adds delicious flavor to your drink. This flavoring can be added to cookies, cakes etc… whatever your heart desires. My one complaint is that the ad states the bottle comes with a gift box and my bottle arrived in bubble wrap. There was a seal on the cap, but where is the promised box?

After using a different way to flavor my coffee at home, I went searching for something with less packaging. While it does contain alcohol, it’s not noticeable to me. It comes in a glass bottle and paper packaging.I use less than half a tsp of sugar and about 1/2 tsp of the flavoring along with some milk, in a large cup and it is perfect for my taste. I repurposed a small bottle with an eye dropper to manage the amount. One bottle lasts me about 2 months and I drink 2 large cups daily (!).

This is my favorite peppermint extract to use for baking. My only issue was the cap was not on tightly before shipping so it leaked a bit in transit.

This extract is delicious! I bought a 2oz bottle of this last year, by mistake (wanted cinnamon). But, after sitting for 6 months, I had an idea, and it's worked out exceedingly well. I had a glass dropper I was able to screw onto the top. I use about 1ml (.034oz) per 16oz coffee, with or without additional chocolate syrup, and it tastes just like a Peppermint Mocha. This year, I bought the 4oz bottle, and while slightly expensive, as far as extracts go, it's very inexpensive compared to other coffee flavorings. Two thumbs up on this one!

Just a teaspoon in 1.5 quart for homemade ice cream is plenty!

I love all of their flavors, and it makes a difference in baking !
