DEEPLITE Battery Operated Motion Sensor Night Light Small Cordless Table Lamp, Soft Glow Nightstand for Bathroom, Bedroom, Kid’s Room, Hallway, Table Decor

Our family has 5 of these in our home. They provide strong light and work well in hallways, bathrooms, laundry rooms, by kitty bowls (our older cat can’t see well) and in our basement. We use along with rechargeable batteries and have loved them for years!

The motion detector for the lamp starts to operate effectively as darkness falls, when the light is on its automatic setting. It picks up motion from a profile of an adult approaching or leaving the lamp, and will start detecting at a distance of about 3 meters. It is superb as a night light for bedrooms or hallways to avoid obstacles, and the light is sufficient to illuminate while not so bright as to act as a distraction to awaken someone who is sleeping. The design is simple, and modest, of plastic, and stands at a height of about 20 cm. Overall, it is a great lamp at a relatively reasonable price. Since the light stays on for a short time after motion is not detected, it is quite practical and useful, and also does not waste battery life. The motion sensor is easy to orient, as it has a small prominent bulge at the base of the lamp. Overall, I can very highly recommend this product.

I was trying to save on electricity so I started to use more motion activated battery powered lights with rechargeable batteries. These little lamps are great. Soft light that illuminates a fair size area. I use one in the bathroom and don't need to turn on bathroom light in middle of light. I like walking into a room and the light just turns on. They go out fairly quickly so you might have to wave your hand if you're too still. Where I live the electricity can go out. These are good because it's not dependent on an outlet.Wish they had switch for length of time they stay on. It's just the right time for a dark hallway but a little short on time for bathroom late night visits.Update: 4-24-20. I have a couple motion sensor battery powered lights and these are by far the best for battery power conservation. Very happy with these lights, very worth the price.I was thinking they'd be nice for camping too, it's good to have them go on if an animal sneaks into camp at night.

Overall fairly good but for applications where you want it to turn on when you are more than 10 feet away, this isn't what you want. I couldn't get it work in my living room - I literally had to be almost in front of it for it turn on. However, in my office (which stupidly doesn't have an working overhead light), I only need to turn into my office and it turns on because it is less than 5 feet from the door. The office is small so it lights up the room well enough so I can find the table lamp without crashing into the desk. That I consider a win. I had hoped to buy another one for downstairs but the senor was not good for longer distances. The old one (different brand) I have there has a much bigger senor so it detects movement further away. For a plastic nightlight, it looks okay although it is a bit tall. The labels for the switch (on/off/auto) are large and easy to read. I wish it were a bit cheaper though.

These cordless battery operated night lights are a great little lamp. At first, I thought they weren't going off with the motion control, but once I was patient, they did. I purchased the lamps with the silver color base and it looks a bit 'cheap'; I think if I were to purchase others, I would get the 'wood grain' base. But overall I am very happy with them. I took them camping in my trailer and placed one in the bathroom so if one of us got up, there would be no need to turn on the bright overhead light. It worked beautifully and cast just enough light to get the job done! I would recommend these little lamps for anyone who wants to have a bit of light during the night. Oh, and they work during the day too! One switch on...one switch motion.

Exactly what I wanted. The bathroom in my apt has 1 outlet & it’s used for blow dryer & hair straightener. Constantly removing the plug-in nightlight was annoying. This little lamp is wonderful! The motion activation works great. When bathroom light is on the lamp turns itself off (saves batteries) and when light is turned off the motion activation automatically resumes. I slightly turned the lamp so that the sensor is not fully facing the door, which was causing the lamp to turn on whenever someone walked down hallway. Now it only comes on when a person actually walks into the bathroom. I bought 2 because I wasn’t sure if 1 was enough but 1 is perfect! Not too bright, yet bright enough on its own. A simple hand movement will turn it back on if it turns off (doesn’t bother me a bit). It looks good, a bit taller than a bottle of water. You can adjust it so light stays on but I prefer to save the batteries so I set to auto. It’s important to note that once you put the batteries in, put switch to Automatic then wait 10 minutes or so. Allow the lamp to “adjust”, then the motion activation will work. At first I thought it was broken but I finally decided to read/follow the instructions and it worked just fine. Love love love this little lamp.

We just moved into a new apartment and we are getting used to where the light switches are located. These lights have been so helpful at night when we need to get out of bed and find our way in the dark. They are very beautiful and look great in ever location we've put them!

I am using it at the bottom of a stairwell that could use a little light. It does it turn on as far out as the description says it does and could really be a little brighter. This would be more appropriate for a bathroom or bedroom.

Die Leuchte ist natürlich nicht sehr hochwertig verarbeitet und besteht komplett aus Plastik. Das merkt man beim anfassen sofort, aber mit etwas Abstand betrachtet sieht man die eher durchschnittliche Qualität nicht mehr. Angesichts des Preises kann man aber auch nichts anderes erwarten, weshalb ich dafür keine Abzüge gebe.Die Funktion selbst ist einwandfrei, der Bewegungsmelder reagiert zuverlässig und hat auch eine sehr gute Reichweite von locker 2-3m (mit vollen Akkus, wenn diese etwas leerer werden verringert sich die Reichweite und er reagiert nur noch auf ca. 2m Entfernung).Die Helligkeit ist völlig ausreichen um zu sehen wo man hinläuft. Dürfte sogar noch einen Tick geringer sein, aber es blendet auf jeden Fall nicht.Besonders positiv hat mich die Laufzeit mit Akkus (ich verwende AA Akkus und keine AA Batterien) überrascht. Ich hab die Lampen jetzt schon über 3 Wochen in Betrieb und die Helligkeit hat zwar etwas abgenommen und der Bewegungsmelder reagiert erst bei etwas geringerer Entfernung, aber der Zweck den Flur und das Treppenhaus im dunkeln zu beleuchten ist immer noch erfüllt.Die Laufzeit mit Akkus ist also sicher locker 1 Monat und damit hatte ich nicht gerechnet, ich hatte auf 1 Woche gehofft.Zur Haltbarkeit insgesamt kann ich noch nichts sagen, da ich sie erst ein paar Wochen einsetze. Insgesamt habe ich 4 Leuchten und alle verhalten sich identisch.

Par des temps difficiles c'est petite lampe sont très pratique en mode détection un peu partout dans la maison quant arrive la peine ombre. Il n'y a pas de petite économie

I have several of these around the home. They give off a good light, and on the sensor setting the batteries last really good length of time. The item is robust as well. My cat has knocked them over a couple of times, and it doesn't damage the item at all. Great product and price.
