Dangerous
We wanted wooden cotton buds as we prefer them to plastic and saw these. However, as per the photos show THEY COME APART AND COULD POSSIBLY GET STUCK IN YOUR EAR.I've no idea how these have been allowed to be sold, but please take my advise and do not buy them

Comes a long way for 30 Bob!
Be aware, these come from China and take 2 weeks. I'd actually forgotten about them. Excellent product. Hard to get it wrong really!

Fabulous
THese are brilliant, since they have got rid of the blue plastic Johnson’s ones we have been lost as the white one just bend in your ears but these are fabulous!

Well made
I found the buds a bit smaller than I'm used to but thought that overall they were solid and well made. Unlike some of the cheaper plastic ones they seem unlikely to fray and come apart and damage the ear. Not being plastic they are better for the environment but they took a long time to arrive so I assume they came from far away, so there is the carbon footprint to worry about. Happy overall but, as mentioned, they took a long time to arrive.

Bamboo strength
Since our cotton buds are all pc now with flimsy paper sticks we searched for something stronger that was bio degradable, these are bamboo and seemed ideal. The ends are very good, but take care with the sticks as they do tend to snap in half if you put a lot of force on them and the bits are splinters as it is bamboo, however we do like them and will use them with care. My husband uses them in his workshop for cleaning smal items.

Finally a great cotton bud that doesn’t bend and isn’t made from plastic!
Perfect. Finally a cotton bud that doesn’t bend with the tiniest amount of pressure. Removing plastic is a great thing but the paper stemmed cotton buds have yet to be perfected and are frankly next to useless. These are amazing. Strength of the old plastic variety but using natural materials. Perfect!

Very thin sticks but better for the planet
Yes these aren’t plastic which is good but the stick is so thin, a few have actually snapped in half in my ear, thankfully enough of the tip was poking out so I could rescue it so be warned, use these very gently

Good and tough
Excellent item - a pleasant alternative to the paper ones which just collapse as soon as you stick them in your ear. These are robust and you can have a good wiggle in the ear without them folding up on themselves.Could do with being slightly longer - they're clearly for smaller asian hands rather than my shovels!
