Ecstatic customer purchase. - 6 stars. I've been looking for a solid stand for way too long to hold my big mic's. Got so tired of finding work arounds for slipping stands. This stand is incredible, awesome, and rock solid. If you've got a big mic and don't want to fight with a regular stand, find the money and buy this one. It'll be justified. This is my happiest purchase in a looong time. Review: Great Stand, Built like a Sherman Tank - This thing is built like military surplus. It is a tank, very stable, the heavy movable counter weight makes it breeze to use with the heaviest microphone you can imagine and have it stay where you want it.. You could probably mount a medium size camera from it as well. My only complaint is the single mounting system. I had to buy and adapter to mount my small Rode directional mike. The tubing expands considerably which enables the stand to be used where smaller booms would not be large enough. It was a choice between this stand and a less expensive stand and I think the extra money was worth it. If you are very small, this might be a bit difficult to horse around. It is heavy, but it is really built. ## Features - Heavy Cast Base with Wheels: Weighted base includes rollerblade-style wheels for easy mobility without sacrificing stability. - Adjustable Counterweight: Fine-tune the balance of your boom or stand using the adjustable counterweight for stable, customized positioning. - Adjustable Height & Length: Customize the setup to your exact needs with adjustable height and boom length. - Fully Field-Serviceable Design: Components are designed for long-term use and can be easily serviced or replaced in the field. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B000GYA3K2 | | Base Type | Tripod | | Best Sellers Rank | #25,191 in Musical Instruments ( See Top 100 in Musical Instruments ) #568 in Microphone Stands | | Body Material Type | Synthetic | | Brand | Ultimate Support | | Brand Name | Ultimate Support | | Color | Black | | Customer Reviews | 4.1 out of 5 stars 124 Reviews | | Finish Type | Matte | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00784887161244, 07848871612440 | | Included Components | Microphone Stand | | Item Dimensions | 41 x 23 x 4.4 inches | | Item Type Name | ULTIMATE Studio Series Microphone Boom Stand w/Adjustable Counter Weight | | Item Weight | 38.3 pounds | | Item dimensions L x W x H | 41 x 23 x 4.4 inches | | Manufacturer | DJ Tech Pro USA, LLC | | Manufacturer Part Number | MC125 | | Material | Stainless Steel | | Material Type | Stainless Steel | | Maximum Height | 61 inches | | Model Name | Ultimate Support | | Model Number | MC125 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Product Style | Boom microphone stand with a telescoping boom arm | | Style | Boom microphone stand with a telescoping boom arm | | UPC | 784887161244 700613725351 521227110780 211131830187 763615921299 784887000000 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Warranty Description | 90 days. | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Ultimate Support - **Color:** Black - **Item Weight:** 38.3 pounds - **Item dimensions L x W x H:** 41 x 23 x 4.4 inches - **Material:** Stainless Steel ## Images ![Ultimate Support MC-125 Studio Series Mic Boom Stand - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41yBZOSL22L.jpg) ![Ultimate Support MC-125 Studio Series Mic Boom Stand - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41zkC-utmfL.jpg) ![Ultimate Support MC-125 Studio Series Mic Boom Stand - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41tOWD6J3+L.jpg) ![Ultimate Support MC-125 Studio Series Mic Boom Stand - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/31jenOYxufL.jpg) ![Ultimate Support MC-125 Studio Series Mic Boom Stand - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61ItdMlBamL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: How do i contact customer service for warranty service?** A: Look it up **Q: Can this mic stand hold a reflection filter?** A: Yes. Depending if you put it on the main column, the clamping screws need to be long enough - it's a fairly large dia. or I think it could hold one using the main boom section. I have my screen mounded on a heavy duty atlas with no trouble. I also have this stand and it would work just as well. I've even put a 7 lb. video light on the boom with no trouble. **Q: Would the monoprice microphone isolation shield fit on this?** A: If it uses a mic clip to fit over the down tube. **Q: Can you use a acoustic shield with this?** A: I wouldn't try connecting one to it if that's what you're asking, I'm sure it could handle it but it's not worth the risk of hurting the mic itself. Instead set your shield behind the artist since that's where the mic is facing -- what happens behind the mic isn't nearly as audible as the area behind the artist. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 6 stars. I was concerned that the bases may not be heavy enough but I have large tube mics that I am now completely confident suspending high over head with these stands. I bought two then bought a third a year later . They are extremely solid with the locking wheels, easy to move and very very versatile. I highly recommend. The only issue I’ve had is that the clutch mechanism seems to stick when loosening and tends to have to be popped into motion, but not a significant issue. Very good stand especially for the cost. ## Frequently Bought Together - Ultimate Support MC-125 - Stedman Corporation Proscreen XL - Black --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/9330503-ultimate-support-mc-125-studio-series-mic-boom-stand](https://www.desertcart.be/products/9330503-ultimate-support-mc-125-studio-series-mic-boom-stand) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-10-30*
