Nothing to do with the part, but the 2013 Equinox is nothing short of a disaster when it comes to heating cores. The dayum thing is behind the center console /dash, and you have to remove the whole thing to fix it. I bring this up because due to the leak, my radio and information display; to include back up camera is fried. Then the AC blower goes out. It's 95 degrees outside. So I purchased a new fan motor and this part. The AC worked again. Of course 2 weeks later, it again failed. I'm pretty sure it's not the fan, so I've purchased an OEM replacement to see if I just got a bad part or if the leak is infiltrating directly on the resistor. We shall see

Had problems with my heater/AC blower motor when driving long distances. Replaced them and this part helped keep it all working. Easy fix.Update 8/13/2021 - bought this 8/3/2020 & it worked just fine. For almost exactly a year. 8/11/2021 it died again. Ordering a different brand now....

The A/C fan motor was acting up - sometimes not turning on or when it would, would vary depending on the speed of the engine. A new resistor was suspected - replacing the existing Bosch/GM resistor with the new one was an easy job that does require a bit of creativity to get at the part under the passenger side dash. 2 screws and 2 electrical fittings later, the new part looked just like the original and upon installation, found that my A/C was working like it did the day it was new. I would recommend this part for your 2010 Chevy Equinox LT 2.4L

Worked in a 2003 Tahoe and a 2013 Tahoe. Strangely enough I also needed the wiring (2 wires) from the item to the fan on the 2013 Tahoe. I observed no issues to the old wiring but it worked fine after.

(UPDATE) Feb 08, 2019I got the item. And it looks better than the GM. Has thicker steel and its abit heavy than the GM once. (shown photo)I haven't installed yet but this product looks sturdy.this will be shipped to the Philippines, so will update on this once i installed. (jan 24, 2019)

Installed it, quit on first use. May be a fluke but this was a bad one. Had to replace it with a locally bought part.

So far so good. Basic socket set and about 30 minutes got the job done. Would be even quicker except it is kinda a pain to get to. Intermittent blower motor malfunction. Now all speeds are working again. 2012 Chevy EquinoxPhotos - new part left, original right

Fan works great now

We bought this blower for my car and only lasted 10 months. I had been off work so I hadn't been driving very much so the blower was hardly ever used. They give you a 1 year warranty but when I tried to return it they said that I could only return it in the first 3 months. What good is the year warranty then! $100 dollars wasted!

Absolute match to the unit that it replaced. Fit perfectly and worked first time. Good quality.

This resistor block works great been a little cooler in the mornings and I have been using it for the different speeds to heat interior of truck.
