Anet V1.5 Self Assembly Replacement Control Board for Anet Auto Level A6 Desktop 3D Printer Reprap i3-12V Mother Board/Mainboard for 3D Printer (1PCS)

My original Anet A8 mainboard got fried, so I got a replacement, which functions perfectly. The only downside I encountered with this board is that it did not come with a bootloader installed. So I couldn't update the firmware without buying some extra hardware.

Works great. Especially after flashing the board with Marlin firmware to add thermal protection and other advanced features.

The heat sinks are mis-aligned (shoddy workmanship), the connectors wobble, and most importantly, does not work when you boot it up. I had to refresh the boot loader with an Arduino Uno and then flash new firmware to get it working. So bottom line, yes it works, but not without real effort.Not impressed.

Needed to be flashed before it worked on my ANET A6.

After many hours of research my findings are that this board does not come with a bootloader meaning that it cannot be flashed with Marlin firmware without buying additional hardware to burn the bootloader. That makes it pretty useless to a large percentage of people who 3d print.

I had to reload A boot loader and Marlin to wake up the board.Motors heater extruder all powered up will be printing tomorrow.

Works same as new
